Good for Geno. Way to stick up for your players who are getting beat up out there without any relief from the officials. I can't stand what is going on.
IMO there should be no debate whether or not this was intentional or not. When you going for ball your fingers are extended like Providence player #1 not shaped like a claw as are #5’s. Looks like #5 is trying to use the “five point palm exploding heart technique” to gouge Lou’s eye out. Did the officials even call a foul on the play and was it an intentional 2? #5 should be suspended for the remainder of her eligibility. Lou might want to consider borrowing Ayanna’s googles for the remainder of the season.
I've seen her drive the lane through all kinds of contact and finish beautifully and hit numerous jump shots while being guarded closely.......she may be worn down and hit a wall but she has certainly performed above and beyond expectations.....I agree. I think she has a soft game and when it is physical she struggles. UCONN can't afford a game to be called close with the bench in it's current state.
I posted this in the postgame thread but watch the Providence player after Lou’s layup
It's the shots to the head that are constantly going on in games that needs to be taken out of our game. 5 is smacking her in the head and putting a finger in Lou's eye. Our players are tough but toughness doesn't prevent concussions or eye injuries.
This would have been ICE Brady if she was snot injured! OUCH!They need someone like Dolson, one of her picks would end all pushing and bumping of Lou.
Law suits will eventually occur with all videos as evidence against the game of officiating and game agendas! It's the shots to the head that are constantly going on in games that needs to be taken out of our game. 5 is smacking her in the head and putting a finger in Lou's eye. Our players are tough but toughness doesn't prevent concussions or eye injuries.
@Rowdy831, are you suggesting that Lou “has a soft game”? I’m sure you’re joking. Haha!!I agree. I think she has a soft game and when it is physical she struggles. UCONN can't afford a game to be called close with the bench in it's current state.
