And I realize they're making money - it makes ZERO difference to me and how I view the team or college basketball in general. None whatsoever. If you do, that's on you and you alone

Serious question: you don’t view college basketball differently now versus ten years ago? You have AJ Dybantsa making like 7 million dollars.

I respect that attitude of not being more critical of UConn players than in the past because they’re our guys and can transfer at any time.

But, in general, I despise the direction that college sports is headed. Most on this board clown St. John’s for their spending too.

I think Geno & Danny are focused on each next game toward the ultimate prize for both of the University's teams (and each other), and they both know how damn hard it is to manage & marshall the full process, and how media and fans and the inevitable intentional troublemakers are 3 more uncontrollable variables, though it's not unreasonable to want & ask for the best support from the fans as the best allies in common interest.

I don’t think so at all. But judging by SOME of the BY screenshots that were posted on this thread, it might be another screenshot candidate for someone’s sanctimonious lecturing about inappropriate fan behavior. That’s what I have an issue with.

And TO BE CLEAR - I’m not talking about the over-the-top instagram screenshot that keeps getting posted, or the other screenshots that were clearly rude & excessive. But I haven’t heard anyone here defending those, nor should they!
