Games Jan. 27 to Feb. 2

Boston College is still up in the 4th quarter.

Wisconsin up 7 w/ a bit under 8 minutes left. They better get to work if they are going to blow the lead.

Arkansas out to a fast start against Alabama.

In a potential mild upset in the MAAC, Fairfield leads Marist by 10 with about 3:30 to play. If this result holds it will give Rider a 2 game cushion in first place.

Boston College up 9 w/ a bit under 4 minutes left.

Wisconsin up 7 w/ a bit less tan 5 min. left.

Order has been restored over in Fleming Gym. UNC-G leads 65-47 deep into the 4th quarter. Time to think about a post victory meal.

.-.
FSU got whipped by BC, every facet of the game. Semrau has been at FSU for 23 years, no final fours, meanwhile softball and soccer at FSU both have newer coaches and National Titles.

Penn hits a 3 to tie it up for Indiana.

.-.
Penn St. outscored Iowa 20-11 in Q4 but Hawkeyes still won 77-66. Doyle w/ another good game, 23 points and 8 assists.

Indiana-Wisconsin has been stuck at 8 seconds for a while...multiple time outs? Tied at 61.

edit--overtime!

I’m guessing the officials were reviewing a play for a while.

Northwestern is in a battle w/ Michigan. Tied up early in Q3. Big Ten bloodbath is continuing.

Wisconsin really is pulling the Washington routine. Now down 5 in OT, haven't scored yet. Is it something about UW schools?

They need to form a support group together.

It's way early, but San Diego and Vanderbilt have jumped out to leads against Gonzaga and Tennessee respectively. With so many ranked teams playing tonight, there were bound to be a few close games.

Parity happens in a league without elite teams. The ACC has NC State and Louisville, both of whom I am still suspect of as being elite as their wins are less than awe inspiring and after those two-nothing that says "We have a good conference". Tonight's FSU loss shows this parity. BC has been on a nice little run but come on, to lose at home to the Eagles? While WF has had a nice little resurgence (and much surprising) that doesn't mean they're good.
Georgia Tech blowing a lead against a Mompremier less Miami team is taking the sheen off the Nell bus.
I am normally a huge ACC fan but this years bunch is "meh"...

You just had to put the jinx on Vanderbilt huh

.-.
You sure had it all of last year, remember?

I thought my jinx was usually when I started watching a game. Maybe it knows no bounds.

I thought it was whenever you would comment on such and such a team has an early lead.

Too bad they only play once. But at least Louisville has another exciting showdown w/ ND coming up later.
