I can’t believe people actually think SC will fall off after the 2019 class graduates lol. The jokes definitely going to be on y’all!
 
Great game. I especially love that we were 7-12 from three! It's always a good night when we stomp the tigers!

WATKINS hitting threes. I heard during one of our games that they're projecting her as a 3 at the next level. She's going to be a matchup nightmare if she can become a consistent shooter with that freakish athleticism.

She has it all in a way that we haven't seen yet at SC. I see what Dawn was talking about now.

Watkins and Feagin both turned into human microwaves in the fourth quarter. Watkins is already a matchup nightmare, she moves way faster than other bigs on the court. Definitely has SF possibilities at the next level.

If I'm not mistaken, she had a 3-pointer, a pull up jumper, a layup, made some free throws and topped it off with a dunk! She can score at all levels and looks like a 3/4 hybrid. I'm very impressed!

Well, we have to consider the level of competition in a "half a hundred " blowout. However, it's very encouraging for the future. That she dunked should be no surprise but the 3 pointer and pull up jumper is very encouraging. I'm pleased that Dawn gave her the minutes.

I didn't get to watch it. Did she have any blocks?

Boston: No double double. There weren't many rebounds for her to have a shot at. Guards were too accurate (Again, consider the quality of the opponent).

Saxton made a three, Raven Johnson made a three, Sania Feagin made a three, Zia Cooke made a three, Brea Beal made a three, and Ashlyn Watkins made a three. Clemson unlike other teams tried to pressure SC, so the threes were more contested than with better opponents who constantly sag, so this bodes well for the future, because no matter who the opponent is, we know what we have down low.

The stats say she had two blocks. She has quite the stat line for 16 minutes of play...5 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 blocks, 3 steals, and 14 points.

I started to pay attention when Dawn said they were trying to teach her to dominate, which is a pretty heavy thing to say about a freshman on this team.

You could play Cardoso, Watkins, and Feagin together pretty easily I think.

Yep. To me, Watkins is a more seasoned version of LA. Freakish athlete, jumps out the gym, shoots at all levels. At this early in her career she’s ahead of the game. She’s going to be fun to e watch.

I’m taking a wait-and-see attitude about Watkins’ shooting skills but so far so good. No doubt about her physical talent.
