Her trainer Marseilles Brown will probably try to keep her home lol. He did so with Ashlyn. We all know Dawn is offering her something those other schools can’t do it definitely looks like she’s taking visits for courtesy. I even think she eliminated Miami and Louisville because I haven’t heard anything else and the signing period is close.

She will be at Louisville Live this coming weekend. Probably will save her final OV to SC. She’s only been unofficially.

I'd better steer clear of this area... except for when they play Clemson in football

University of South Carolina fans will soon have a new go-to game bar in Charlotte to cheer on the Gamecocks.

Why it matters: Charlotte is full of University of South Carolina fans and alumni, which should come as no surprise since the school is only about an hour and a half south of here in Columbia, SC. “There are 17,000 members [in the alumni association], just in the Charlotte zip codes,” owner James Korpela said.

It's too bad they didn't open last October. You could've popped in for a bite during the Mayo Bowl and felt right at home. :D

Sahnya Jah? She posted she was announcing her commitment tomorrow but then quickly took it down

.-.
Jah and Del Rosario both visited SC over the weekend. Could be either.

Chloe Kitts wouldn’t surprise me either. She posted “COMMIT” on Del Rosario’s official visit post for SC. Straight to the point, this one. Lol

I really hope Kitts isn’t pulling our leg but she’s done that often and only too SC posts. She did the same thing to Jah and also told Milaysia she hated her Ole Miss pics lol. Hopefully they don’t get any ideas this weekend in Louisville. Really want them both in Garnet and Black.

I hope not either. I really like her and you are right ... since her visit to SC she has engaged a lot on posts involving SC. Her last like on twitter was a post from Zia praising Dawn. Fingers crossed we get her but I doubt she is the birdie bc of her visit to Lousiville next weekend.

Who else is going to Louisville with Kitts?

SC and Louisville (along with Ohio State) used to go head to head for a lot of players in recruiting. Walz got his share, Dawn got hers. SC’s recruiting has since elevated to another level and the battles became fewer. Kinda nice to see a battle with the Cardinals again. Hoping this one goes our way.

I believe Fulwiley is at Louisville this weekend.

So far all that I’ve seen is Kitts, Fulwiley, and Solé Williams their 2023 commit.

We’ve pretty much butted heads recruiting against Louisville for awhile now and they seem to be losing a lot of seniors like us. I don’t think it’s a question either way honestly, the head to head results speak for themselves as well as the number of players we have in the WNBA and will have drafted.

Sorry if already posted
Birdie Alert!!!

Makes me smile seeing Sahnya’s mom look so happy. I love it.

Sahnya Jah is an excellent recruiting gem to start the 2023 class. ESPN has her ranked somewhat low at 45 but Prospects Nation has her at 13. She is very athletic and aggressive offensively and defensively in the mold of our recent and current players. She will have time to improve her mid-range extended game, but a player that looks to drive and score is always a plus. She will be much higher in the next ESPN HoopGurlz release and her highlights from Team Takeover are impressive. Hoping to land Chloe Kitts, Aalyah Del Rosario, Mylasia Fulwiley and possibly Tessa Johnson which will give us another #1 ranked class to step in behind the 2019 senior class. We have solid young guards already in Columbia in Bree Hall, Raven Johnson, and Talaysia Cooper. A solid frontcourt in Sania Feagin, Ashlyn Watkins, and Kamila Cardoso so the cupboard will remain full after we Run Back the NC in 2023! Gamecocks will remain the team to beat for years to come.

I think ADR will be the next birdie to fly in the nest. Think it’s btwn SC & TN. She has nothing on her IG page about LSU I think she’s eliminated them.
Unless we get confirmation ADR's recruitment is still up in the air. No one has inside scoops or info on her eliminated finalist other than her and Luisa.

I don't believe that would give us a number one ranked class (But i would be extremely happy with that class).

Also, ASGR ranks Sahnya Jah as 17th. So, ESPN/Hoopgurlz is a bit out of the average range. Sahnya and her teammate, UConn recuit Cadence Samuel, may both see a rise in the rankings. Be that as it may, I think Dawn and Geno are better evauluators than any ranking service.

Jah’s athleticism and ball handling at 6’1/6’2 jumps off the screen. And she’s not frail either. So she’s hard to handle attacking the basket. She’s going to be a problem at SC if she develops a consistent midrange like KiKi did.

If Arizona gets Juju Watkins, which seems possible.. you can pencil them in for #1. Barnes has a great class heading to Tucson already.

I like getting a recruit from the Maryland area. May not have any influence, but I really want Kendall Dudley next year from DC. Also, Kiyomi McMiller is now in SC, but she was raised in Maryland.

FWIW.

Same. I like keeping a few DMV players on roster. Russell was the last before she transferred due to wanting more playing time. And I was very surprised to not see Maryland in Dudley’s top 10. Maryland used to have a tight grip on DMV recruits. May be loosening a bit with all of the negative publicity coming out of college park lately.

Opportunity for SC to make inroads there.
