One positive: NG Travis Jones is a true beast. He had 7 tackles and seemed to make an impact when there. Surprised he didn't start and/or play more.

It was kinda nice starting the year against a team where I knew we had no chance of winning. It helped allow me to focus on the positives and not overreact to mistakes.

Mensah played great against a quality team, Buss was a pleasant surprise, Pindell showed good improvisation and was noticeably stronger than last season, Travis Jones impressed, Scott showed enough in his receiving game to help shake off his early fumble.

Milton led UCF to its 14th consecutive victory as the Knights took a 56-17 win at UConn. Milton completed 24 of 32 passes for 346 yards and five touchdowns and added 50 rushing yards.

If Pindell stays healthy he's going to have a big year. Moves extremely well and has enough of an arm to be very effective.
