1 P.M. > PARKING LOTS OPEN FOR SEASON PASS HOLDERS
Exclusively for the season home opener, parking lots will open one hour earlier. Season parking pass holders can access the parking lots beginning at 1 p.m. and can park anywhere in their designated lot for the first 2 hours to tailgate next to friends and family.

2 P.M. > PARKING LOTS OPEN FOR SINGLE PASS BUYERS
Exclusively for the season home opener, parking lots will open one hour earlier. Get in early and get the grill going! All fans can access the parking lots beginning at 2 p.m. Don’t forget to use #UConnTailgate all season long when posting pictures of your gameday setup.

5 P.M. > HUSKY WALK (between Gates C & D)

5:30 P.M. >> STADIUM GATES OPEN

Right now, weather shows a possible thunder storm Thurs for the game, or a rain storm could hit us by then if it comes in a bit faster than anticipated. Usually I’d root for rain against a superior team, but then I remember that we have a QB who doesn’t use the laces when he throws (remember BC last year). Let’s hope for clear skies.

Beating a dead horse here but ESPN is airing Northwestern at Purdue on Thursday night in the 8PM spot. I know its a Big 10 matchup but that is an absolute snoozefest. Run the ball, punt the ball, run the ball, punt the ball, etc., etc.

How can that be more appealing to viewers around the country than watching the defending national champs @ UConn?

You haven’t see Purdue play under Brohm.

Doesn't the B1G have a deal with ESPN? If so, there's your answer. Perpetuate the image of the product you're selling.
 
New Features at Pratt & Whitney Stadium This Season

Among other things:
  • Exclusively for the Home Opener: Exclusively for the season home opener, parking lots will open one hour earlier. Season parking pass holders can access the parking lots beginning at 1 p.m. and can park anywhere in their designated lot for the first 2 hours to tailgate next to friends and family. Parking lots for all other fans will open at 2 p.m. Additionally, exclusively for the night game and home opener, tailgating will be permitted for two hours after the game.
  • Happy Hour: An all-new Happy Hour will be implemented for the first 60 minutes of the gates opening and will feature a discount on food and beverage specials as well as a merchandise special every game. Happy Hour specials will take place only at the Fresh Classics concession stand located behind Section 136 near Gate A and will feature $4 12 oz. domestic drafts and a $5 popcorn bucket that can be refillable throughout Happy Hour. The Huskymania Fan Shop will also feature a Happy Hour merchandise offering each game, check UConnHuskies.com/gameday before each game for information on the featured item. With gates opening at 5:30 p.m. for the home opener, Happy hour will run from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

    As a reminder, each and every game throughout the season, fans can purchase Rent Dogs and bottled water for only $3 per item.
  • Student Season Ticket Holders: This season the first 500 UConn student football season ticket holders will receive a "mystery" item to encourage them to arrive early and cheer on their Huskies. The mystery item will be first-come, first-served while supplies last at the student entrance.
