There was a lot that guy didn't understand.

Absolutely! I mean other than hiring Jim Calhoun and hiring Geno Auriemma and deciding to join the Big East, what did he really do?

(I will never understand why you have such a woody for Toner. He is undeniably the most impactful athletic Director we’ve ever had at the University of Connecticut, and individually was genuinely a nice and very personable guy who made time for everyone.)

And got Gampel built? That was a VERY big thing at the time.

True, but I feel like Gampel opened after he left. But he definitely played a role in getting it built.

(And he served as president of the NCAA.)

Just hoping tomorrow is the day we finally crush an FCS opponent. I was certain Edsall would do it his first year back and I couldnt have been more wrong. The buzz around the Husky Revolution will take a hit if we struggle against this team tomorrow. I don't think we will, but my hopes are tempered by our last 8 or so performances against FCS opponents.

From what I'm hearing, this may be the best attended game of the year. Tickets on stubhub were going quick, weather is going to be perfect, and there's so many UConn/CCSU students/grads/family/fans in state. Plus lots of HS and junior programs in CT will be interested. Will be a fun day at the Rent tomorrow...really looking forward to it.

Was just thinking the same thing. And UConn could easily lose today. If that happened, it would certainly harsh the mellow, to use a 1970's term.

The notable in here- Charlton builds play packages around skilled players and he spilled the beans he has a package for Cale Millen to get reps this season.

According to this (UConn branding) University of Connecticut Brand Standards | Color Palette it is Navy blue. Sad.
I don’t know if this is the “official” color name, but it is the common name associated with the RGB and hex codes.
IMG came in years ago and changed everything. Remember the silver football uniforms and these helmets?

The Chicago Bears wear navy blue. UConn's blue is a little lighter IMO.

Love his approach. We haven’t had a decent OC in a long while
