Offense clicking again—UConn shooting 62% for the game, 8-for-16 from 3.

I"d like to see most of the bench in at this point. I realize USF has starters out there and we will likely be outscored, but it seems like a 30 point cushion is enough and I think it would be good for the reserves to test themselves on offense and defense...

Courtney Williams visibly frustrated. She wasn't even trying to move on that possession.

Sometimes reality hits you real hard while playing UConn... and leaves a knot on your forehead. Poor Ferreira. As a side note I believe both teams have 5 separate players who have hit a 3.

another bad shot selection by Lou. Much better rebounding, a few worse shots. never a straight line for a freshman....

That was one of the greatest defensive TEAM efforts I have ever seen. Moriah and Gabby were fantastic in shutting down C. Williams. Well done, guys. Well done.

Every basketball player loves to play offense, but the total commitment and passion with which our kids hit it on the defensive side of the ball was truly incredible.

Rebecca mentioned something during the game that I found interesting. She was discussing how Geno has shortened his rotation to seven players for the NCAA Tournament in recent years. She asked him about it, and he said that he thought eight was the ideal number. I'm not sure it goes beyond seven this year, but still, it seems he'd like to use eight if they were the right eight.
