Just a bad break for the big 10 that they had games with Oral Roberts and North Texas that were so massively underseeded
And they shot so lucky too. No other explanation.Unbelievable unfair matchups. NCAA committee actively trying to besmirch the B10.
San Diego St has some chuckers, wow
Georgetown had a nice little run of these. But maybe that was just a few of them in a small window, versus more consistent programs that have done it over decades.
It's really infuriating that Buddy Boeheim got suddenly good in the middle of the year.
The kid has always been good despite the boneyard saying he blows. It's really infuriating that Buddy Boeheim got suddenly good in the middle of the year.
This is how it always goes for Syracuse:It's early, but San Diego St. in typical "Zone? What's a zone?" mode.
This is how it always goes for Syracuse:
- sneak into the Tournament with an undeserved 10 or 11 seed
- luck out with matchups or teams that are baffled by their gimmick defense
- everyone calls Boeheim a genius even though his teams had to badly underachieve just to get to that point
The kid has always been good despite the boneyard saying he blows.
This board overhyped all year how bad they were. They struggled to beat a solid mid major in December. "They stink!".
Shutting their game off and watching Nova. I've seen this story before. SDSU looks pathetic against the zone. Amazing how they always draw these teams.

SDSU, a very good shooting team, just bricking wide open 3's.
I mean not all of them. They've taken a few deep and somewhat contested ones. But a bunch of them coming from reversals and middle-kickout shots have been wide open and bricked. They aren’t wide open. SDSU hasn’t figured it out yet.
Jump to conclusions much? I don't know how good SDSU is. Syracuse is an NIT caliber team, and one half of basketball against an MWC team is not enough for anyone to change their opinion on that.
