Friday March Madness Games

Say what you want about Cuse during the season by tourney time they draw teams that are mentally challenged by the Cuse zone. Bohemian as an underdog is dangerous in March.
 
If teams want to learn how to destroy the Cuse Zone, they should look at Uconn game footage from 2003.

I mean not all of them. They've taken a few deep and somewhat contested ones. But a bunch of them coming from reversals and middle-kickout shots have been wide open and bricked.

Every 11 seed is NIT caliber. That's why they are an 11 seed and just made it in.

Syracuse lost at the buzzer to UVA. UVA along with Nova are the 2 best programs in America despite ESPN spooning Duke, Kentucky, and Carolina non stop.

They are not great. They are not bad either.
 
Nova looking strong early. Winthrop shocked that Nova is just a much better version of them.

If SDSU doesn't play with a little bit of poise, they are going to get their doors blown off. They look like they have given up already. What team quits 18 minutes into a game against an 11 seed? This is embarrassing by the Aztecs.

i picked cuse in this game for these exact reasons. predictable. easy money.

Nova had time to prepare and everyone ran their mouth about how Winthrop would beat them kind of makes Nova an underdog in a way still early btw.
 
What would Calhoun do if he was the SDSU coach after that debacle of a 10 minutes stretch?

Attack that zone. they will. May not win but SDSU will adjust.

It feels like they are crushing Winthrop, but they are only up 9. Villanova really misses Gillespie.

nova lost serious leadership and firepower, but not their brains, nor the experience of playing quality teams like us and creighton, and dangerous teams like shu, x, and marquette. the very definition of thoughtful and purposeful hoops.
 
Rutgers in a dogfight. Evenly matched.
 
This Clemson-Rutgers game has really heated up early in the second half. Not that I particularly care about either team or this part of the bracket.
