Friday (3/8) games

Well, Arizona is still hanging around. Maybe I was wrong. 56-49. McDonald has 29.

Not taking anything away from Ionescu because she is talented but she gets on her teammates a little to much for my liking.

60-53 after 3Q. 31 points 5 assists for McDonald. 16 points 10 assists 6 rebounds for Ionescu.

Good game here so far. Clemson came to play and they aren't backing down

It’s a good game. Arizona really is a solid team. Their dreadful nonconference SOS is the reason they’re effectively out of contention for an at-large bid.

That last play showed why Giomi hardly plays for Oregon. Really poor defender. Reese with the and-1 and Arizona hanging around.

My goodness...the official throwing the jump ball to start the Louisville-Clemson game can't throw it straight up in the air. Two bad tosses.
Another thing that they will probably do away with...just let the visitors get the ball first and go from there. It seems a lot of refs can't throw it up correctly, some players don't even try and just because it is a change. :)

Sabally fell hard and slow to get up. Oregon can hardly afford another banged up player.

McDonald completely ran out of gas and was a non factor in Q4. 77-61 Oregon in the closing seconds.

Oregon vs. UCLA rubber match tomorrow.

She seemed to be grabbing at her left elbow (shooting arm) and looked in a lot of pain when she went to the bench.

Oregon can afford no more injuries and certainly not to any of their starting 5. They just give up too much when they go into their (very shallow) bench.

She seemed to be grabbing at her left elbow (shooting arm) and looked in a lot of pain when she went to the bench.

The way she covered her head w/ a towel while sitting on the bench and Hebard came over to console her seems like a bad sign.

Cazorla, my favorite Duck doing a Michael Jordan playing very well with the flu this evening,. (Or afternoon over in the West). Sabally injury is like losing KLS. But she looked a little better after the towel shot.

Could Arkansas pull off an upset over SCar?

WIthout Levy I can’t see Missouri being able to handle the ball pressure from Holmes and Danberry.

She was definitely a real difference maker in that first game.

I have a feeling the Dogs will be well motivated, but I'll never again underestimate Mizzou. They fight hard.

SCar buzzer beater at the end of 3Q to go ahead after they gradually ate into Arkansas lead. Game of runs, and indeed there was a lot of running compared to the earlier SEC sludgefests. SCar defense didn't look very good.

Was it the arena or espn that was playing 'we will rock you' at the end of Q3 of SC-AR?
Would seem rather odd for what is supposed to be a neutral arena.

Clemson causing havoc on the offensive glass and leads Louisville 60-54 after three.

If Clemson can hang on to beat Louisville, Muffet better send Amanda Butler the biggest muffin basket on the planet because that will hand Notre Dame the Chicago regional on a silver platter.

If Arkansas hangs on, could that possibly knock South Carolina out of a top 4 seed? I keep looking at their season schedule, and I keep failing to be all that impressed by their resume. OOC just doesn't do anything for them. Basically comes down to a 3-1 record vs. Kentucky, Texas A&M and Missouri. I'm not sure that's enough.
