Vermont got lead down. Just tuned in. Kolek out of the game I think I heard as I tuned in. It would be funny if the boys from green mountain slam Marquette.

I don't know why Pitt wasn't scheduled to play yesterday, but obviously Capel did something with the extra day and Iowa St. did not.

I had Pitt winning this is 2 of my 3 brackets. But I don't have them going to S16. Three games in six days with basically a 6.5 man rotation is asking a bit much.
 
I'll be interested to see how the Diaz-Graham twins bulk up over the offseason. Or if they do. Guillermo has good skills and nice touch, and his brother has a good BBIQ. But both need at least another 40 lbs to not be pushovers.

I had a futures bet from a while ago on Iowa State. Pitt is really ruining this. I should have known to be wary of an 11 seed coming off a play-in win. Those teams tend to overperform. I wonder if anyone has compiled stats on this.
 
Kalkbrenner has his hands all over this NC State game. 11 points, 3 rebounds, a block, and playing solid defense

Creighton is 1/10 from three and are still up 6 with 7 minutes to go in the first half

I swear the schadenfreude people feel for conference opponents when they struggle in the national tournament.

It makes not freakin sense.
