Freeman possible visiting friday

The channel just has too many hot takes. Greg beating the “Tarris sucks” drum for like two full years when it was obvious how good he had become. There was another guy that for months wouldn’t shut up about how he thought Malachi smith would start and Demary would come off the bench and wasn’t very good (which was just as dumb of a take back then as it is now).
Greg "staked his reputation" on UConn not surviving the first weekend of the tournament, then hid like a coward for two weeks after the Huskies crushed UCLA. He can take a long walk off a short peer for all I care for his opinions.

We speak the same language, but I'd have to disagree on Greg. He is not neutral on them, he is deliberately anti. I think he's had some run in with UConn twitter that has soured him on UConn as a whole. He'll thus go out of his way to
Come on man - he gives mad props to Hurley. He was not high on Reed because he was not that good at Michigan. Reed did great things for us, but it took him awhile to get to that level, and I attribute it to the coaching staff developing him. By tourney time Greg could not say enough good things about Reed and publicly ate crow. Just because some guys say we sucked when we lost to Creighton and Marquette and had too-close games with Providence and Georgetown, doesn't mean their biased - we actually deserved the criticism (and there was a ton of it on this board). I'm a diehard UConn fan as everyone here is (well almost everyone) - but I get sick and tired of "everyone is against us" conspiracies.

.-.
Hence "physically I get it"
Wasn't saying you didn't. Was just saying those 2 are actually better physical comparisons.

When we signed him and I saw his measurables, comparing him physically to those 2 dudes was one of the things that got me really excited to have him here.

Not that far apart dude - and I rarely get on the reffing, but that CG was brutally one sided. And Greg went on a rant throwing UConn fans under the bus like a whiney baby - check it out if you haven't seen.

OK - I got you, all good

Freeman visits no more. No reason available. Reports state he cancelled, but it may be just one sided story. Who knows, it could be initiated on UConn’s side. Maybe it has something to do with Khamenia’s visit? Trying to look for silver lining.

I do not understand why we would back off Freeman if Stewart was transferring. There is plenty of room for both him and Khamenia in that scenario.

With Solo, Mullins and Khameni no room for another starter...... in addition to Silas and Hines. Lets see.

So annoyed the Locked on podcast keeps trying to compare Solo to Russell Westbrook...

Not as bad as the last host's nonsense but I was having trouble listening to that comparison.

lol what? Maybe they have similar bodies but their games? Hahaha. Oh mark.

Khameni projects to a 3 in the pros, I think there’s room in that rotation for another stud in the front court. You could create some unstoppable sets with Mullins—Khameni-Freeman on the court at the same time.

Not to be that guy (although it is okay to be that guy), but we now have two threads on bogus commitments and one thread on a visit that isn't going to happen. Perhaps my mistaken comment about the Boneyard being unmoderated was more accurate than supposed.

.-.
I would think so.
Agreed. So.. Could this re-open a Freeman visit or has that ship sailed? Can't speculate on certain player decisions yet to be made but we have some that will be hugely impactful to any continued interest in Freeman-if there is still mutual interest. Am a fan of NK fitting into our rotations as they're currently defined. Freeman would seem to make sense if certain decisions were made yet to be determined. Interesting times we live in.
