Expecting significant growth from a PG in his first year of the most complicated offense in college bball, especially a guy that came from essentially no offensive system at UGA, is completely normal. He’s had flashes and I can almost guarantee you he will be a hell of a lot better come March. Can we stop with the Tristen stuff? SD is not TN. Hassan was never the PG Malachi already is. Love HD but he was a different player. He was never an option to start at PG.
I remember clearly. You seem to forget its two different players. When TN was here we simply didnt have a better option so he was thrown to the wolves and had to take his lumps. Dan Hurley has the option of taking some of the pressure off and let him come off the bench and work things out and get himself back into the starting spot. This is exactly how it went with Newton. Some of you have the memory of a goldfish.
Was that supposed to be BYU instead of buy?you're right, Malachi has had to come in and pick up slack twice against top 20 teams late at the mecca while silas goes off in buy games. More pressure on Mali. oh wait you were saying...
Yup. In the mean time he can figure things out coming off the bench.Expecting significant growth from a PG in his first year of the most complicated offense in college bball, especially a guy that came from essentially no offensive system at UGA, is completely normal. Toronto produces a lot of show offs it seemsRolled my eyes when I saw that. Guy finally has a decent game and all of a sudden thinks he’s Leensanity.
Fast though. Blew by us when he was in.Boogie sux
Terrible idea.Yup. In the mean time he can figure things out coming off the bench.
Couldn't have said it better. It is more about his role within a well-functioning offense. I think Malachi is more aggressive and creating on his own so there is less of an adjustment for him. But you want the change of style from Silas allowing the offense to run through the wings (especially once we get Ball and Mullins at the same time)

Boogie is a Sophomore... He did his Frosh year w/The Squid last year in Arkansas.Floridas big weakness is their backcourt. Fland is not a good PG. Maybe its because hes a freshmen and needs time to grow and who knows he may grow into the position and be really good as the season wears on but if he doesnt step up theyre not going to be a serious threat to make the F4 nevermind repeat. Lee although he had a great night only averages 8 per game and thats simply not going to get it done at the 2. You need a guy that can get buckets consistently. Their frontline is absolutely awesome. Among the best in the country. If they had our backcourt itd be lights out. Repeat would be likely.
Huge payday for whatever program accepts the invitation and it's prestigious to come to NY and play there.Might be tough getting teams to play us in MSG in the future. It’s literally a home game. What’s are MSG record the last 4 years?
It sounded like it was 80 percent UConn, but the camera made it look different, but zooming in on the Florida fans every time they made a play.Bilas said we had a clear home crowd
Being benched 10 games into his first year isn't going to take the pressure off of him, you're just adding to it.I remember clearly. You seem to forget its two different players. Does that mean teams won’t sign up to play in the SentinelOne Showdown or Jimmy V Classic, which are usually played at MSG, if we are one of the participating teams?Might be tough getting teams to play us in MSG in the future. It’s literally a home game. What’s are MSG record the last 4 years?
