We lost. It sucks. Would you be happier if we ragged on all the players?that was an extremely winnable game. don’t understand all these moral victory comments. this is UConn, not a mid-major that is happy to be there.
relax. nobody is sending hate messages to the players. this is a message board. The chat got a bit scary there for a bit. Please please please don't be dumb and send hate messages to the players. While it's disappointing, the run had to eventually end...and they put up a great fight against a team that absolutely could be the champs at the end of the day.
Proud of the boys...let's go UConn!
I won’t say we should‘ve won..Well we definitely need players that can rebound opposing missed FT's
Amazing effort but should have won.
I remember a game in the early 1990's against Georgetown where every time we had what appeared to be a reasonably open shot they fouled and sent us to the free throw line. We went about six minutes without scoring from the field, and although we were able to keep a small lead during that stretch, once they stopped fouling, with about two minutes left we couldn't hit a shot. All we had to do was shoot decent and we win comfortably. Frustrating end to a frustrating season. Excited to see what the current and future newcomers can do next year.
Thought Hurley coached a good game but wish we did something different during that five minute scoring drought down the stretch.
@kobebeanbryan Yes, it was a winnable game.that was an extremely winnable game. don’t understand all these moral victory comments. this is UConn, not a mid-major that is happy to be there.
You are much more diplomatic than I amMan you are unbearable.
The effort was there. Defense for the most part was great. We went after loose balls and won a bunch of 50/50 balls. They just didn't have the final push to rise up and make it over the top of the hill. They didn't show it all year but at least they tried. We need some more toughness injected into the program.that was an extremely winnable game. don’t understand all these moral victory comments. this is UConn, not a mid-major that is happy to be there.
As always....thanks for all you do here in the Yard, TomGreat game except for the final score. Good luck to Florida.
and yes, still no transfer speculation until the player announces.
100 percentWow, some of our fans......
Many here don't deserve the success we've seen over the decades

Switch PGs and we are a Championship contender. The kid is a stud and what we need to findGreat game. Clayton is basically a Kemba/Shabazz/Newton type who just brings it. Props to him for showing huge stones down the stretch. Onto next year.
Exactly. I wouldn’t be mad if that water dude drop those 2 threes. Nothing you can do. But slip two rebounds which basically come to your hands is not cool.It was the couple of rebounds that just slipped through our fingers that were really tough to stomach.
I’m with you. This “just happy we were able to compete and hang with Florida” stuff is garbage. Last four minutes were a microcosm of the season. AK with his reverse and Solo with his floater off glass both trying to avoid contact. Hurley had the right plan today. Players failed to execute, especially on the offensive end.that was an extremely winnable game. don’t understand all these moral victory comments. this is UConn, not a mid-major that is happy to be there.
He did. McNeeley didn't play well at all, especially down the stretch.I think Stewart deserved more minutes.
HollowGreat effort. Oh so close.
better to get it off my chest here than carry it with me all day…Step away from the keyboard for the next 24 hours. It'll do you good.
