I agree 100%.
Some of those passes he throws are dimes! And when was the last time we had a QB like this. Evers was close but he could not hit those passes downfield and too many check downs, and passes close - but like Wake Forest game - just missing the mark.
Joe also doesn’t turn the ball over which is a HUGE plus. I think that is part of the reason he’s locked in as starter.
Now on the NFL possibilities. He will likely not get drafted but I could see him making some practice squads and who knows what happens from there? But he does have an accuracy that puts him in the “walk on” or very very late draft round pick category. His numbers are impressive but nowhere ready to start the NFL debate. We’ve just got the best QB we’ve had since Dan O IMO.
