Isn't that a protected historical site? That's why nobody can touch it with a 10 foot pole with all the expense that would go into restoring the buildings.
Not sure, but it makes little sense to put a stadium in the depot campus when there are three potential sites on the physical campus.

The Rent is at the most convenient place in the State.
Absolutely! Well, except to the athletes, coaches, and students. To them it is decidedly inconvenient.

But really, why place any emphasis on them at all if it inconveniences people west of Hartford by making them drive an extra 30 minutes six times a year?

Agreed this is an attempt at some drama where there is none.

Joe looked like NFL QB yesterday and when Evers came in - he looked like backup.

BUT I want Evers to continue to get reps because let’s face it, chances are he’ll likely be our starter at some point this season if Joe gets hurt. We need him to step in and lead.

Look at Syracuse, it’s like their whole team gave up because their starter got injured - that can’t be us.

ALSO, Loved to see the FROSH from Virginia. He looked electric - the future may be here - we’ll see!
We’ll have to keep winning blowouts then, otherwise you’re not going to see Evers get many reps

Oh yeah before the season. Big whoop. And I said that after many players had voiced their opinions. After the season started I said Fagnano should play over Evers. You must be butt hurt I was right about that too..

Welliver still throws a better ball than Evers. Cope with it.
It's fun seeing an NPC using "butt hurt" and "cope". They're getting good at imitating humans

The Rent is at the most convenient place in the State. And the folks who give big bucks in addition to the legislature want it right where it is. It's not gonna change.
No shiite, particularly barring any currently unlikely newly reconstituted ACC or Big XII invitation .Point remains, a homecoming (key word) not located on an actual campus remains less likely to entice alumni showing up for any university alma mater. Football fans, and non-football fans alike. In particular, shockingly for out of state alumni less convenient to any CT location. /s

It was great that Murphy, Parker, Rosa and Vereen all had catches yesterday! Joe was extremely accurate! I am a little concerned that Joe doesn’t start his slide soon enough. We need keep him healthy.

On defense how does someone not on the 2 deep lead the team in tackles. Amir Renwick looked awfully good yesterday. Did he replace King? I will have to rewatch the game and see what adjustments our defensive coordinator is making. I notice that true freshman Gilbert played the whole game before UConn emptied its bench. I never saw Devin Pringle on the field. Injured ?

Anyways, on to BC! My group will be there. Hope to see a decent turnout by our fan base especially the ones that live in the Boston area!

GO HUSKIES!

Much better this week by a bunch. The ball was distributed much better. The wideout screen was used sparingly rather than as a staple. There was more intermediate pass routes in play. Still runs sweeps into the short side of the field with regularity which makes me nuts.
Sammis is halfway through year 2 as an offensive coordinator. Lots to learn that can only be learned through reps. I’d say after year 3 we’ll have trouble holding onto him.

Yup, a significantly scaled back autonomous vehicle testing facility. Partnership between Guilford’s Promesa Capital and the School of Engineering for about 4% of the ex-training center facility’s 350 acres.

Originally proposed for 105 acres; dramatically scaled down to 15 acres. BoT agreed to sell the 15 acres in Sept 2024.

This was a nice win, period. They could’ve folded after losing at Delaware, but 4-2 is what we are.

Having said that, there’s likely not 1 nfl guy playing D for FIU. I want to see Joe play at a high level in Boston.

Joe is not likely an NFL guy so that made it even! I don’t get why people feel obligated to denigrate him after a great performance. He is clearly the best quarterback we have had in many years. He isn’t Tom Brady. He is a solid college quarterback. Jeezz

I can’t help but think there has been dramatic improvement on defense. We were almost always where we needed to be.

The offense is so much better with Joe willing to run. Wasted plays are now 5 yard gains. If Joe had run a few times in our losses we’d be 6-0.
It helped playing a team whose offense was really one dimensional.

I was concerned he slid at all on that one run. Mora has told his QBs to stop sliding. He thinks it puts them in a worse position than a traditional run. It felt like everytime Evers slid, he got hurt.

Of all 3 coaches today, I’ve been impressed on how Sammie continues to to put our players in position to succeed, even rewarding certain players with play calls and opportunities to make memories on offense
Sammis was a great hire for O Line coach. Now Mora looks like a freaking genius promoting him to OC. The guy has consistently the entire season out the offense in positions to succeed.

Even if they join a conference it ain't gonna change.

How many basketball games total are in Hartford? It is a business. They are getting paid. They will survive,
