Both sides balled out today. Joe with a clean slate, 22/28 in passing and 0 INT. One tough fumble from Bell but hard to find fault. Defense brought the sacks and forced multiple TOs. FIU couldn’t find the endzone until late game when we put in the backups. LOVE the effort and a great game to carry the team into the bye week.

I can’t help but think there has been dramatic improvement on defense. We were almost always where we needed to be.

The offense is so much better with Joe willing to run. Wasted plays are now 5 yard gains. If Joe had run a few times in our losses we’d be 6-0.

Joe running 2-3 times a game is a huge nuance.

I was going to raise that very point. I mean, he missed 5 and only through for 4 tds and 0 interceptions. He stinks. 😷

They were 2-2 and beat FAU before the game. Bad but not bottom of the barrel.

Beating the crap out of other FBS programs, good or bad, will always bring a smile to my face. Great way to end off the first half of the season, I’m looking forward to our trip in Chestnut Hill!
