Uhh the pollsters don’t care about Q1 losses. We'll see on Monday. They're not equivalent Q1 losses, but they are both Q1 losses.

Clemson is #26 in the AP and #21 in the coach's poll. You willing to die on that "unranked" hill?Uhh the pollsters don’t care about Q1 losses.
He's right, they're unranked and Florida is #6.Clemson is #26 in the AP and #21 in the coach's poll. You willing to die on that "unranked" hill?

Duke will be 4 at the lowest1. Bama
2. Florida
3. Auburn
4. Tenn
5. Houston
6. Duke
SEC could have the top 4 seeds
Alabama not going to lose. Up 15 with 9 minutes to goBama has to win first. If Bama loses, it's possible Duke moves to #1 regardless as they lost on road while Auburn lost at home.
By Torvik's WAB, they are almost identical difficulty (-0.28 and -0.26), but that is with Florida 4 and Clemson 32. The top 35 road game is sliightly more difficult. They are 20 slots lower than Florida.
No sane person considers a H loss to 6 worse than a road loss to 26.
Well now they're up 3 with 2:46 to go.Alabama not going to lose. Up 15 with 9 minutes to go
Nice block on Sears a few plays agoWell now they're up 3 with 2:46 to go.
You expect an older guard like Youngblood to make his FTs but he missed a couple. Exciting finish after Bama being up big.oooh, Ivisc just lost the game for Ark fumbling a rebound oob with 3.6 left.
Two of Sacred Heart's best players -- Mekhi Conner (New Haven) and Tanner Thomas (Stamford) -- are CT guys.
NIL has destroyed mid-majors from retaining talent, but that focus has helped teams like Sacred Heart attract incredible freshmen like Conner. Such a talented and poised point guard.
I kinda think the role that mid majors can play going forward is being sort of like a AAA team for baseball. If you aren’t getting the time in the show you need, drop down and kill it for a while - then play your way back into the big leagues and some NIL money. A kid like Estrada who we saw in the Final Four last year was at Oregon, dropped down to Hofstra, and then played his fifth year at Alabama.Mid majors are basically the minor leagues for high majors. Only way to make runs is to sneak a group of up and comers by the highs in one season, like an FAU with Davis and Goldin a few years ago.
I even heard some rumors that there could be collabs where a high major teams with a mid to give a young kid playing time, then come up when ready. And to support it financially by giving the mid major NIL. Not out of realm.I kinda think the role that mid majors can play going forward is being sort of like a AAA team for baseball. This is why Luke and kimani haven’t left for a HC gig yet. Those midmajor jobs aren’t attractive anymoreI even heard some rumors that there could be collabs where a high major teams with a mid to give a young kid playing time, then come up when ready. There are guys doing it - Drake coach as one. This is why Luke and kimani haven’t left for a HC gig yet. Those midmajor jobs aren’t attractive anymore
McCollum will certainly be invited to interview at Indiana. There are guys doing it - Drake coach as one.
All you have to do at that level is to be better than your peers, prove yourself. I will be curious where they land and if a high major is willing to roll the dice, given the scarcity.
