I thought you were tripping and couldn't see Self having two mediocre(by his standards) seasons in a row but you were right. Hindsight is 20/20 and nobody would have said it at the time but Kansas would have been better off just retaining Ejiofor and investing in his development over Dickinson. They suck. I don't get many right but I said they were way overrated even before the season started.
They were one. And they are spiraling. It’s what happens when you bring in transfers on huge bags that are mercenaries by nature. Storr has been beyond bad, and you mix him and Dickinson in the same locker room and kaboom.Kansas is melting down worse then us this year. They were what, pre-season number 1 or 2? Getting run out of the gym by BYU. About to be out of the top 25.
Storr seems to be a poison for whatever team he’s goes too. Apologies to HuskyHawk, but I’m here for it.They were one. And they are spiraling. Purdue also falling apart of late - third loss in a row for the purists who have zero athleticism. I see them suffering an early exit. Three players, and Loyer is limited.
Look at whisky this year, better without him. You just don’t want that guy in your locker room. He doesn’t pass, plays d selectively, can’t shoot. 7 teams in 7 years says a lot. Who is the real AJ Storr?Store seems to be a poison for whatever team he’s goes too. Apologies to HuskyHawk, but I’m here for it.
It’s grotesque.Kansas down 20 to BYU at half.![]()
Well they kept it under 35. Don’t waste your $$ on MSU.I’m bout to bet on Michigan State to win the natty. They are due and everyone else sucks.
How can they choke in the NCAAs if they're a double-digit seed?Kansas is melting down worse then us this year. They were what, pre-season number 1 or 2? Getting run out of the gym by BYU. About to be out of the top 25.
They have the best win of the season on paper. Number 2 in country so hard to say they’re flying under radar. They’re a firm contender. They do just about everything well and very balanced roster, and dominant on the glass/paint. Play connected as well, bigs good passers.I've felt like Florida is the best team all season long and nobody talks about them.

And if you need a good laugh, these classic Hurley quotes do the job
They have a multi pronged issue. They’ve over invested in Harris and Adams, who are not very good, and they filled out the roster with portal cancers.MSU beat Purdue. I think @superjohn is right that Florida looks good. Very quietly Houston is also good and coaching matters in the tournament.
Kansas is worse than UConn right now. They have 3 players that Self recruited who ever see the floor. It's not a good recipe for having guys embrace your culture.
Yes, the two guys Self needed to recruit over are Harris and Adams. Harris is fine if surrounded by shooters. Adams is limited and should be bench energy. They have a multi pronged issue. Mich St cannot shoot the basketball. Limited upside.
Self’s evolution into the portal felt out of frustration. They won it, then fell flat in 2023 and he knee jerked bringing in the mercenary types out of other high majors.Yes, the two guys Self needed to recruit over are Harris and Adams. Mayo was a quality addition, but he's a local kid so has some pride.
Let's just hope the Seton Hell loss doesn't turn into a Q4. They are current NET #217 (241+ is a Q4 loss on the road). Based on their remaining schedule (Xavier, 'Nova, @ St Johns, Creighton, @ UConn), it would seem impossible to sink much further even if they lose all 5 games in blowouts due to opponent quality. The biggest game of last night for UConn, Colorado losing by 14 to Iowa State. That moves them up above 100 in NET and means we only have 1 Q3 loss now
Got to love a system where you are rewarded with a loss to a team you lost to.The biggest game of last night for UConn, Colorado losing by 14 to Iowa State. That moves them up above 100 in NET and means we only have 1 Q3 loss now
Yes, impressive turnaround by louisville. of course, many of their wins are over the likes of wvu, cuse, bcu, miami, nd, nc state, fl state, uva (2). the conference sucks.Former big east teams really having a rough go at it this year... Cuse, BC, NDame, Rutgers, Miami, Vtech all under .500 in conference and most are in the basement in conference. You hate to see it. WVirginia very average too.
Lville really turned things around after an absolute legendary disaster the last two seasons, however. Hate that team but impressive turn around. 20-6.
