Maybe you ought to start calling your friend "eyechart".

There's no resemblance.

However, if you knocked out one of Ashworth's front teeth and gave the Bombas guy a headband, you might have Flea and Mark Knopfler.
He has no clue what the Bombas CEO looks like, that's why it's funny. That's why Ash will always be Bombas.

Good lord I did NOT see the women kicking the royal crap out of South Carolina on SC's home floor. To call it a beat down would be outright charitable.

That is a monster of a win for Auriemma, Beckers and Fudd. Might be the biggest upset of the entire year, men's or women's. Wow.

It was #7 at #4. While most people expected SC to win, the spread was 7.5, how is that the biggest upset of the year?

Maybe the biggest upset since yesterday

Kalk just went down - very weird injury as he came down off balanced on a flush foot, but went to clutch his foot afterwards. This doesn’t look good, suggestive of some type of fracture, which could be college career ending in his case. Expect the Jonnie’s to run this one.
Thankfully he came back and looked ok.

Been watching todays game with a close eye at in bound plays.

Seems like most teams have a set of about 5 they can use at any usual situations
Now, I'm not saying UConn doesn't have them also and maybe the kids are using them and for some reason can't or won't. Most all these teams don't have the issue UConn does, so perhaps could be leaning as an anomaly and something that can be worked on.

Maryland and Iowa is entertaining and sloppy at the same time.

Kansas experiencing some similar issues to us. Self over indexed on returners and wiffed pretty bad in the portal. Really soft team makeup. There is talent there but just not congealing and super imbalanced, with a total lack of dogs.

Pretty tough day after our debacle, but the Creighton/StJ game is gonna be must watch as curious to the cajones those two have bouncing back after losses, in seeing how they set up for March. Also two very different styles with two great coaches. As always my fandom starts with UConn and then ends with other BE teams.
The problem both teams have in common, in my opinion, is that they just don’t really show up and play hard all game or every game.

Ashworth is getting fouled a lot this game and a lot of them aren't called.
The Big East sucks. The allowance of so much contact away from the ball makes for ugly basketball and allows lower skill teams to prevail. Ashworth gets grabbed clutch and held just like our guys. You can only really combat it with big, strong tough skilled guys. We had three last year, one this year.

I hate whining about refs, but I was pretty shocked with what St. Johns was able to get away with in today's game. There was one play where Scott had both hands on Neal, grabbing and pushing multiple times for several seconds while Neal was trying to drive past him, with the play ending with another mugging at the rim. Sure, it's one play, but this seemed to happen repeatedly all game. It's a SJU home game, so I understand the whistle is going to favor their style of play, but they are in for a rude awakening at their first neutral site NCAA tourney game.

I hope Hurley says something about this prior to their rematch with the Johnies in MSG. I'd be interested to see if that has an effect on how that game is called.

Duke up by 18 over Virginia early in second half. Maliq Brown left game for Duke with apparent shoulder injury. Cooper has double double already but had dunk attempt blocked.

Baylor isn’t very good. Arizona has gotten so many easy buckets with nice entry passes, not sure why we can’t do it that.

Good guys lost but there’s a shimmer of lights in New Britain. CCSU won Saturday 83-67 over St Francis. They increased their win total at 19-6 (10-2) with 4 games left in the bottom portion of conference standings. Seller doing a good job. Hopefully CCSU can hang onto him for a while longer.

Thanks for the update, seriously, between you and Hey Adrien. However, I will only do a golf clap for this. I remember feeling let down after CCSU won the NEC title in the regular season only to crap out to the #8 seed in the first round of the conference tournament.
