If you never heard Allie Sherlock she is very talented.

Cannot belief Allie is only 18 years old now. She does have great talent.

Here's another one by Miley. Covering "Sweet Jane" by the Velvet Underground (Lou Reed). Cowboy Junkies did a cover also, but I like Miley's.

Ziggy Marley and John Popper/Blues Traveler cover Bob Marley's "No Woman, No Cry". Song writing credit was given to a Vincent Ford who ran a soup kitchen. It's believed Bob did write it, but basically gave the the song royalties to run the soup kitchen.

Another Velvet Underground cover. This time The Black Crowes cover "Sweet Nuthin'". Chris lets Rich sing on this one. Good choice. My Morning Jacket does a nice cover also. (actually quite a few covers of this out there)

Post Modern Jukebox does some great covers, change-ups. This is Guns-n-Roses "Sweet Child O' Mine". With Ms Miche Braden doing the honors.

Ok, definitely not a classic song, though in parts of the world kinda popular a while back. Was/is a US band, Scissor Sister and their song "Take Your Mama Out Tonight". This is covered by a Danish blues showband, Thorbjorn Risager & The Black Tornado.
Anyway, I like them and they have some good blues tunes of their own out there.

Perhaps the poster was thinking of the song Cover Me from the album
Maybe, but.....Cover isn't even a cover. Although I it almost was. I've read it was originally written for Donna Summer, but they thought it was too good to give away.

Gretchen Wilson, who's not even related to Ann or Nancy (and is a country artist ), along with Alice In Chains, pulled this off. Guess if you got the Heart, you can do it.
