Gretchen Wilson, who's not even related to Ann or Nancy (and is a country artist ), along with Alice In Chains, pulled this off. Guess if you got the Heart, you can do it.

Barracuda

I loved this version, Nancy is also in the video playing the guitar.

The Joe Perry Project, “Beck’s Bolero”
Joe Perry’s tribute to Jeff Beck, recorded in New York City on April 18, 2023

Here's one more Hendrix song, this time from stoner/doom metal band All Them Witches doing a killer cover of Voodo Chile.

Ataris covers "Boys of Summer". Packs a little more punch than the original. Lyrics by Don Henley, but Mike Campbell from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers wrote the music. Brought it to Tom first, but Tom didn't think it fit them. Producer Jimmy Iovine suggested Henley.

Mike Campbell now with Fleetwood Mac, and he played lead on that song for Henley. One of my all-time favorites. I noticed the Ataris changed some lyrics. Not a Deadhead sticker.

Must be a classic, given the number and diversity of performers who've covered it. Ella Fitzgerald, Fred Astair, Edith Piaf, Marlene Dietrich, José Feliciano, to name a few.

Like so many others, died young... "...Larson died on December 16, 1997, in Los Angeles, California, as a result of complications arising from cerebral edema triggered by liver failure...."

Final one for the day, a different type of a cover. Sina is doing all of the parts to Rapper's Delight, not bad for a 15 year old, who's second language is English. Sorry for the German at the end, I will not translate it.
