I know we're pissed and yes that was ugly but please stop pooping on Brock.
we missed in the portal.
you can't outscheme that.

and yes, he's responsible for his recruitment. So is Jim Mora.
They all need to do better on getting the pieces.
I maintain that if Brock is on the hook for these 4 away games that pissed us off, then JM is on the hook too. it's HIS team at the end of the day.
I'm sorry but some blame needs to be sent Brock's way. The amount of times we've gotten burnt this season late in drives for not having anyone deep is mind boggling.

I can understand the 90 yarder, it was 4th and 1, a running situation and if we got them in the backfield we score soon after. It was worth the gamble. But the deep one to Messer that made it 41-38 and kept them in the game on 4th and 11? We've seen that over and over and over again this season. BC at the end of the first half as another example. It's ridiculous.

I do think we need to bring in some better players on defense but people are correct to assert that there's coaching malpractice at times as well.

Undefeated in regulation for the second time in six seasons! (2020)
This is probably the sweetest undefeated season I've ever predicted!

In all seriousness, I wanted to give a shout out to the entire Boneyard. Together, we keep Husky Nation strong. And whether we agree or disagree on various topics, I love you all. Thanks for almost 2 decades of great times, and here's to many many more...

Fantasy game for TDH…lol,

That was the most disappointing win I have watched in a long time. The defense was terrible in tackling and just doing the basics.

I am glad they won, but the defense needs to do stairs and work on tackling the next couple of weeks after today's display.

BTW, coming into the game, FAU was the #1 passing offense in college football. Thankfully, they are ranked last in turnover margin. It's crazy that we went from playing the #3 rushing offense in Air Force to the #1 passing offense in FAU in back to back weeks.

1: We really missed Mel Brown, great having him back

2: Joe Fagnano, Skyler Bell, and Cam Edwards are incredible. We may never see another trio like this

3: I hope a lot of our money goes toward revamping the defense next year. In addition to finding a new DC

We can be frustrated with Brock, but our D can be just horrible at tackling at times.

I swear that 400+ yards of FAU’s offense was a result of missed basic tackles, bad pursuit angles, and just plain bad basic defensive IQ.
I think it might be the end of the road for him. At some point we’ll be playing a more difficult SOS and this D won’t hold up against top tier competition.

You should be fired for giving up nearly 700 yards as a DC. There is no excuse under the sun that allows that to happen to 3 win G5 squad. If I was the HC his bags would be packed tomorrow.
We could bring in another DC but they still couldn't tackle.

It's the internet era. It happens at all levels. People are going for the big hit, the spectacular play, rather than getting the guy on the ground.

Someone just said in the chat we could be the worst 12-0 team in history, we almost had it.

It sounds harsh but it's true, it also means we've come a long way.

Brock doesn't seem too good at his job, offense has been humming all year. That's the reverse of our better teams.

That was me. I’m not sure I wanted that the distinction. Somehow it would hurt us, like losing in the Fiesta Bowl by a few too many points.

The D was gassed by the middle of the 3rd qtr. 80 degrees, down a few guys and then they looked shellshocked. No idea what some of our DR'S were doing in the 4th qtr. Safeties can't let guys get behind them.

That said, the Offense was even better than that putrid defense. We have 1 more game to hopefully watch an amazing offense that will be very hard to replicate. Last year we got back to respectability. This yr we are drawing more attention to the program and players. This program is on a march to making the case for P4 faster than the Big 12 or ACC could expect

I was waiting for the defense running wind sprints after the game. No such luck.

Yeah only way you get those Dline and lock down CBs is with loads of NIL. Given the players we got through the portal it appears we spent all our NIL on the offense.

I’m ok with that. Offense sells tickets and draws eyes.

This team is probably around the level of our 2012 squad, which had an insane defense and God awful offense. That team went 5-7, vs a tough schedule. It was torture to watch them week in and week out, even though they picked up some legitimate wins & the kicker screwed them out of a bowl game vs Temple. Despite the problems, I have enjoyed watching the team this year.

How in the fffffff did we win that?

Because myself and a large number of UConn fans said "miss it!" when FAU was lining up for the kick. It was our only hope. Just listening to the game on radio via UConn+ was nerve-wracking but at least I did not have to watch our defense. The final UConn drive was something. Especially with Rosa in and dropping the pass. Once Cam was back in I knew we would score.
