Looking at another top 25 team with him in the fold. Someone smarter than me explain how it would work though in terms of the guards coming in?

He played hurt all this past season, as he did during his sophomore season. I'm guessing his junior year is a better evaluation of his skill set.

I’m not a fan of relying on frosh that much anyway, but fatts also regressed from last year.

I didn’t realize that.

But having another vet ball handler isn’t the worst thing.

we do need a scorer so it depends if he'd accept a role as an off ball microwave bench scorer.

2 of the 3 schollys need to go to shooters and fatts doesnt fit into that category. 35% from 3 as a soph was his best season, so we'd still need to get a shooter on the wing and a stretch 4/5 with the other 2 schollys

We will need scoring and more consistent bench play. If he wants to come provide those that would be incredible. Highly doubt it though.
 
I didn't watch URI at all this season but on paper his #'s were horrible. Maybe someone who watched them can shed some light?

And have the smallest back court in the big East? No thanks. Cole has a few inches on Fatts and I felt his height was constantly exposed on the defensive end. I get why people are trying to connect Fatts w UConn but I don’t see how it’s a good fit.

Take this with a grain of salt, but I heard from a source that he's considering a transfer to Uconn. Maybe true if the one-time transfer rule goes into effect. Hurley recruit. Averaged 19/3/5 as a junior on 39% from the floor.

I’m wondering if he was considering coming here last year and it didn’t work out, what would make it different this year? Last year we did only have one scholarship at that time and were pursuing AS pretty hard, so that could have been a factor.

Anyways, that’s just me overthinking it. Ill be happy if he comes here and happy for him if he ends up elsewhere, but ultimately I trust Hurley in his recruiting
 
I would be really, really, really, really, really, really surprised.

I feel like this one ticks boxes for UConn that are already ticked.
