If he told the staff he committed but wanted to announce it himself and the staff told Daniels then that's poor form and may come back to hurt us. This is weird, Daniels is usually pretty good.
 
Clearly he didnt tell anyone hes committing to us because hes still taking more visits.
 
It has the feel of a guy who isn't ready to commit to UConn.
 
I'm heading outside. This is like sticking needles under my nails.
 
Exactly one week later this stuff again? Well hopefully he does officially commit to UConn at some point.

Im going say that I highly doubt our staff would have broken his trust like that. Either these sources are getting way ahead of themselves or he is telling the team, staff, etc. and not indicating that he doesn't want them to say anything.
 
If anyone chose to view people's sources as being the objective truth, that's on you. This is what happens when you marry yourself to the idea of a 21 year-old kid making a major life decision without unpredictable at all.
 
Alright if he is visiting other schools like Rothstein says, i think now it is safe to say we aren't the outright favorites.

sabotage our recruiting... all the ollie to the nba rumors and now pissing off gibbs... someones out there trying hard

After this I would be suprised if he ends up here. I was kinda scared of Ohio state anyways. He could just be enjoying being recruited all over again, but why not commit if he likes uconn?......because he isn't sure makes the most sense and now NC State where he could fit in well also......DAMN!
 
Another roller coaster. These inside info posts get me all jacked up. Then these recognized recruiting figures saying it putting their reputation on line. And it doesn't mean they heaRd from CT camp. These guys probably fact check both sides. Have these types of recruiting processes ever ended up good for us or anyone.
 
These recruiting guru's are so desperate to break a story. It's funny, though, after hours/days of silence, Gibbs has conversed with 3-4 guru's. What did he tell Daniels that was so different than what he told the others.

Let's put it this way..kid isn't too smart if he chooses NCState. Why go somewhere where you will be a back up compared to a starting slot?

LOL at recruiting expert and fact checking. 1 person who might have information and you've got a source. It's twitter everything is forgotten under a deluge of posts within 24 hours.

If he goes to NC State he'll be a starter in a 3-man back court with Barber and Henderson. He'll have the same role Lacey did.

From the beginning of this Gibbs recruitment, NC State was the team that scared me most. Gonna be holding my breath for the next week or so.
 
Well obviously he didn't spend any time with Purvis during his UConn trip.
 
Im very frustrated right now - I can't help but feel he will go somewhere else just to spite these guys who said he has committed to us. I don't have a good feeling about the situation and I'm usually a glass half-full guy
