Roy Hodgson resigned immediately following the game.

Arguably the greatest international upset today, but Iceland has a chance to one up themselves against France. It will be a very interesting match.

LOL at England, they had 70% of the possession and a couple dozen scoring opportunities.

Kane alone had 3-4 very solid shots. The Iceland keeper was brilliant, the UK keeper allowed a soft goal. That's your match summary. England dominated every match they played in the tournament, but couldn't put the ball in the net, and let in a couple of weak goals.

England is now going berserk trying to figure out who will manage the national team with WC qualifying coming up.

Germany vs. Italy is going to be intense. At this point I'd give Belgium the best shot at getting to the final. They look very solid. Those young guys are finally learning to play together.

Yes, but they have to go through Italy and then (probably) the host country France to get to a final. Belgium has a pretty easy path.

Disappointing loss for Poland, but I think this will be good practice for a World Cup run. Their qualifying group is doable.

Klinsmann to UK? Premiership club is reasonable perhaps, but what's Colonel Klink done to justify a more challenging role with markedly higher national expectations, media pressures, etc.? Doubt it will happen, but if it does so be it ...

Gutted for Poland.

Portugal made it to the semis basically without winning a game. Nice job UEFA.

A lot of times, getting an early goal can hurt you, Poland sat back for the next 30 minutes and could never get it going.

What a performance by Wales. How can you not root for them and Iceland. Crazy that either a lackluster Portugal or Wales will be in the EURO final.

I'm calling it....Iceland-Wales final....it's going to be epic! It'd be only fitting in a year where Leicester City wins the Premier League that two super underdogs fight for the Euro title.

To both Iceland and Wales defense, they have won their games both leading up to the tournament and in the tournament solidly. Unlike Portugal who has yet to win a game in the Euros in the 90 minutes of regulation....Hope that losing Davies and Ramsey won't hurt them too much in the semis.

The question is which of the underdogs in this tournament (Iceland, Hungary, Wales, Poland, etc.) can qualify and make noise in the WC. Only Poland and maybe Wales probably have that ability.

Yeah when you look at the groups for qualifying Wales really only has Austria and Ireland as the main competition, maybe Serbia. Poland has it even easier with only Romania as any type of competition. Iceland will have the toughest road with Turkey, Croatia, and Ukraine in their group. That's rough....
