I think we would beat both of these teams comfortably in a neutral site, but Texas scares me in what would be a road game.

UConn might have the least amount of fans at the F4 considering proximity and the size of the universities.

UConn and FSU at 30,000 would be the 2 smallest schools there if Texas makes it.

I just can't buy into Miami. Maybe Pitt is a bad matchup for them, but in the two games vs Pitt, Miami was really no better than Pitt. Pitt won by 3 at home, lost by 2 in Miami as their last shot to win hit the rim. Wang didn't do much either game.
I saw them put a whooping on Dook in the regular season and I became a fan.

Both of these teams had really good seasons. Big wins over top teams, strong schedules. You could argue both have better resumes than UConn

It's a home game for Texas, most of the fans for the three other teams are taking flights there. The fanbase that travels isn't based on what the enrollment is.

Looks like there's no non-stop flights from Bradley to Houston which is insane to me.

Slightly off topic: anyone have any idea why Shaka Smart didn’t succeed at Texas.

I understand it’s s football school , yet here they are. I’m guessing with some of smarts recruits, but in only 2 years Terry has them on the verge of the final four. What happened with smart?

Not looking good for Miami. They could get run out early in the 2nd half.

I just think Chris Beard is simply a better coach than Shaka. He built this Texas team and now Terry is reaping the benefits. Terry was nothing special @ UTEP and Fresno so I'm not going to say he's responsible for this run. It's very likely they would be in this same position if they kept Beard.

If Disu is out next weekend I like our chances. Christian Bishop will get eaten alive by Sanogo/Clingan

Don't want to play Texas in Houston.

Texas is driving at will to the basket. It won't be the case with Sanogo and Clingan there waiting.

We can beat either of these teams if we play our game but if you ask me if I'd rather avoid the annoyance of hearing about 2006 or playing Texas in Texas. I'd rather avoid Texas in Texas. Has the added benefit of driving down ticket prices.

We’ll have our hands full with either one, but also should beat either one if we keep playing at the level we’ve been at this tourney. Rooting for Miami because Texas will have about a billion fans in Houston.

Miami is making Texas look amazing because they are leaving their shooters WIDE OPEN. UConn won’t let that happen.
