This is maybe the worst analysis I've ever seen of Boatright, and this website has been a reliable font of terrible analysis of Boatright for years. Beautifully done. No notes.

Ok whatever we saw how well Boatright did when he didn't have Napier there. Obviously he was a great scorer but I always felt he was more of a 2 guard. Great penetrator and became a better shooter as he got older. Also was super good on defense.

Saying Cole is shiftier than Boatright is laughable.

Ok we can just differ on this. Obviously Boatright was a top tier athlete while Cole had to use change of pace and picks to create. Boatright could just blow by people but he definitely had issues at the rim due to how small he was. I felt like Cole distributed the ball better than Boatright and scored just as well. Boatright was a great player but he also had Napier beside him. Who did Cole have to help with ball handling?

It looks to me like we are picking up a guy who averaged 17, 5, and 5, gets to the line often and hits his free throws at a very high rate. He strikes me as a considerably better player than an "A10 level guy". Do you really think we could have hoped to find a better transfer?
