When Mullins got shouldered to the ground….. I thought Hurley might flip out but he understood we still had a chance to win and a tech would completely kill us.

Coming back takes a lot out of you. It happens all the time that a team makes a big comeback then stalls out. It’s draining. It’s why I didn’t panic against MSU, and why this tonight is so crazy impressive

A lot of times teams come back, take the lead briefly, then surrender it and can't bounce back again. UConn had perfect timing this game: took the lead with less than a second left, leaving Duke no time to respond.

My friend bet $5 on UConn at halftime. It only paid out $47.50. He was going to take a $12 cash out as UConn was coming back. I told him to hold on.

Take it one step further. The conference that swears we’re not good enough for them while they take weird schools from all over the country has now seen us beat THEIR CHAMPION in both pigskin and hoops in one year. They dont have to take UConn, but it’s time the media stops letting them pretend that performance has anything to do with it.
