That was the most shocking UConn win in my life...

I think this surpasses Duke 04, Duke 99 and any of 11 and 14, just on sheer shock.

I was not even that mad at halftime, I was in my stage of coping. I thought well we can make this a game, we can still come back, but right now I'm resigned to saying they played great and we shot poorly.

Even when it was 7 multiple times, I was all fired up but we couldn't get it down...Mullins and AK miss 3s, Solo missed a couple shots, we just couldn't narrow it further. Then it was 5, then 4, then 3, then HOLY CRAP WHAT JUST HAPPENED - I didn't even scream right away, I was just stunned. It took my 3-5 seconds to yell downstairs to my family WHAT JUST HAPPENED

That's the miracle but Tarris was the engine. 25/9/3 with 2 steals and 4 blocks. 63% from the field. Genuinely an all-time performance.

With out a doubt a effort for the ages. Reed was not to be denied in recent games, capped by this all-round game. Smith was also a major gain by getting the ball to Reed in deep position. I haven't seen Reed be this quick with near perfect footwork and great passing since he had put on the uniform. Hope this moves him well up in the draft. He has a heart of a champion as does Smith. Demery grew more comfortable as the game wore on.

Our experience in close games keep our recovery steady even as many of our points were being covered by Duke. We didn't shy away from the deficit.

This game may become a great teaching tape for staying focused on winning against the best. This game is also a strong stake for great coaching by our staff. Thanks, what a season it has been! We were bullied, knocked down but got up an gave a black eye to another blue blood of which we are clearly one ourselves. Let the finals begin.
