Dom Amore’s Sunday Read: Why Cooper Flagg fits UConn’s model of ‘basketball people'

Just trying to have a little fun with all of it.

If we lose Cooper, I blame Mr.. IYKYK.

Embarrassing.

Now you're really going to hate me. Ngongba is also nexted.

I don’t know if I’m buying that. He’s going to K State for an OV this weekend. If he was 100% committed to Duke he wouldn’t waste his time and K State wouldn’t waste their time.

I’ve seen so many circumstances where we’ve missed out on our primary target & “settled” with another, who turned out to be even better (Brandon Knight, Corey Floyd, Doron Lamb, etc.) Hooking a big fish is always a plus, but it doesn’t always translate to success. I trust our staff to identify talent & more importantly, maximize it. Flagg would be an awesome get, but if it doesn’t happen - we’ll be fine.

Omg I've never seen such knee jerk reactions by a collective group in my life. Pictures from our visit everyone pumped hes coming. Pictures from dook visit hes gone.

With all due respect to any alleged insider on the boneyard, we haven’t heard squat from Zionn. That’s the only Next I’m interested in.

Dookie has the espn mega-hype machine for the one&done's like Flagg from Nov until NBA draft....espn maybe located in CT but may as well be on tobacco road. UConn has like 3 non-conf games on espn a year so we enter the 5* recruit battle trailing by 10 imo, even with the titles.

We get the 5* kids that really want UConn/Dan Hurley/BE experience and want to get better...we'll see if Cooper is one of them.
