Look at the last sentence. He’s speaking as if Hurley is his coach already. He’s ours.

It’s not losing them to portal. That’s key. And that’s reflects the culture and connection. Bench guys need to get their chance especially an Alleyne who was a starter before coming hereReturning as many starters as we are is pretty rare.
Losing an entire starting 5 is probably more than average, but it's hard to complain when it's the result of performance on the court.
I'll piggy back you

Trilly totally just back tracked here. Woah!
I believe again. There’s no way he back tracks unless this is truly at least a 50/50 recruitmentSo basically those of you who took his reminiscence tweet to mean he was laying the groundwork to backtrack, you were correct. But didn't say we were leading or anything, just have a shot.
Essentially he just re-learned something this board has internalized: recruiting is fluid.
Yea it’s either a toss up or he knows he’s going to UConn. If he knew he was going to Duke he would just not say anything and act like he was right the whole timeTrolly posting that is really good news. I can't imagine Trilly would backtrack like that today if he thought it was a lock for Duke.
Why? 99% of the time, Trilly’s predictions are based on actual information…So they’re not really even predictions.Loses Nostradamus status if he doesn’t put out a correct prediction by like 2pm tomorrow.
Has anyone figured out who Trilly actually is? Some people have to know, he gets a ton of scoops. Somehow a burner account has become the go to for recruiting news, kinda hilarious. Why? 99% of the time, Trilly’s predictions are based on actual information…So they’re not really even predictions.
This was one of the rare times he fell victim to groupthink, except he’s one of the few people who can actually admit he was wrong.
Fair points. I agree plus I thought his recent post prediction recap was thoughtful. Just seems some of the aura of invincibility is gone now. Why? 99% of the time, Trilly’s predictions are based on actual information…So they’re not really even predictions.

I’m sure some people do, but the only reason why the college basketball universe is able to get these scoops is because it’s done anonymously. Writers with their name attached to a story can’t burn their sources/trust with recruits by leaking it early. Trilly doesn’t have to follow those rules which is why he’s been such a fun follow for the past year or whateverHas anyone figured out who Trilly actually is?
