Oh for sure no point firing him before the last game and burning money necessarily. I just hope there's 0% chance he's back next year, which is why we need to make sure our discontent is palpable to Benedict.

I was thinking contact some coach before Jan 2 and line one up and then fire Diaco for less.

Worth saving the buyout money to go after a completely new offensive staff of DB's choosing? Honestly I think there's talent on this team, and even though the defense has dropped off a bit this year, I trust that with an offense that could hold the ball more than 15 minutes a game it would do wonders for the defense. I say only fire him now if you know you already have the coach you want lined up. If you don't, fire him on January 1. There's no sense in wasting 1.5 million if it doesn't buy you anything...
