Imagine if Diaco had retained his job and got Rhett Lashlee as OC? Might have actually been decent.

I think what he's actually trying to say is that overly aggressive defenses may look like they're trying to stop an offense, but said aggression may be counterproductive and lead to explosive plays.

That's the Don Brown defense. He's a good DC but I'm in the minority here in that I wasn't a huge fan of his when he was here. He wasn't the DC that Todd Orlando was here.

It got shredded by Western Michigan at home, but it also battered Teddy Bridgewater and led a huge upset on the road. I loved the aggression but you need exceptional cover corners for it.
