SANTA ROSA, Calif. – As expected there were no real close games in the three we covered at the three-day Cardinal Newman Classic that kicked off on Thursday.

In fact 11 of the girls scored led by the 13 points (four steals) of Morgan Cheli. The 6-2 is rated by many analysts as the top sophomore combo guards in Northern California and one of the tops in the state. She already has an offer from Cal and more will be coming.

followed a year later by Ms. Olson. I have come to the realization that there are too many young talented players in the loop for me to keep em straight. Without this thread I'd be a mess trying to keep up with the young ladies. Once again, many thanks to Sluconn and all the rest of the posters that keep me informed and entertained. :)
 
Ok, while at the ND-UConn game today I went to stretch my legs at half (after the Olympics Ceremony) and I happened by the Media, ND and UConn Recruits Ticket table. All was quiet as they were packing up and I politely asked “Does UConn have any recruits here today? no names of course”, with a smile and the lady chuckled and said, “Yes, UConn had some recruits at the game today”.
So, I ask my knowledgeable colleagues here, do we know who these recruits were who went to the game? Just asking for a friend…
 
Malaysia Fulwiley vs Talaysia Cooper below.


Milaysia and Keenan High won. They also beat Joyce Edwards Camden Team and Asklyn Watkins Cardinal Newman team last week. Malaysia outscored Edwards and had 41 against Watkins' team.

There appears to be some recruits and parents sitting behind the UCONN bench. However all/most of them are not recognizable because they were wearing masks.
UConn vs Notre Dame at Gampel Pavilion 12/5/21


Megan Rapinoe is directly behind Aubrey and Rebeca Lobo is one row behind Megan in the brown coat. Directly to Rebecca's left are where I guessing the recruits start.

I've lost track and don't know these players. Is UConn connected to Cooper or Fulwilley?

Trying to keep this thread about UConn recruiting.

The guy in the grey jacked looks like Dan Hurley. Not him I'm sure, but there is a resemblance. I hope the recruits were impressed. Q4 was really good until the last minute...

Do we count Rebecca's husband Steve and their oldest daughter? That's the bald guy in the middle.

Fulwiley is a UConn POI that has been featured often on this board' recruiting threads. And I mention she also beat Joyce Edwards' team . Joyce is considered the number one prospect for 2024.

So, no, I was not posting players who are unrelated to UConn recruiting. These might be players in SC high schools, but I don't think interest stops at Dawn. In fact, I greatly fear we will not get Edwards.

I certainly am not predicting the same outcome but this visit is very much like Brady's recruitment. Early interest on both sides and a unofficial visit early in her sophomore year. This kid is skilled, can get off the floor and is a load getting good coaching on how to use her body. I'm ready to get on board with her recruitment.
