Just saying it from a balance of powers perspective. (I never had any interest in UConn joining the ACC)

Do you really want an SEC takeover of College basketball?
The SEC just shellacked the ACC. If it's happening, it's happening, as many already suspected. Not much we can do about it.

Damn Petiford on fire. Now I see why Hurley wanted him. Give Nowell more time and take that away from Ross. I think Nowell can be really good and give him time will speed up the learning curve.

So what’s up with the BE-BIG12 challenge- 8 games should mean each conference get 4 games at home but BIG12 gets 5 home games…

Either Xavier gtown or butler shoulda gotten a home game. We’re tied 2-2. Houston should beat Butler. Xavier Gtown and SJU could all win but Woulda helped if we had another home game

There are 11 games. Big East has 6 at home (UConn/Baylor, Providence/BYU, Villanova/Cincinnati, Creighton/Kansas, St. Johns/Kansas State, Seton Hall/Oklahoma State), Big 12 has 5 at home (Iowa St./Marquette, Texas Tech/Depaul, TCU/Xavier, West Virginia/Georgetown, Houston/Butler).

LOL can't say the refs are favoring Duke on those last couple plays

1-14, though duke going to win the late one.

I haven't added it up, but I suspect the average margin is more than 15 points in favor of the SEC

The ACC ended up with a 2-14 record against the SEC. How is that possible for a major conference to put up that kind of performance against another major conference? Just random probability should put the floor around 4 wins, with a smattering of close games. Through tonight, I think the SEC is 26-3 against the ACC this year, and 18 of those wins were by double digits.

The SEC is 4-3 against the Big East, and 3 of those 4 wins were by 4 points or less.

Has the ACC fallen that far?

Duke might win the regular season by 5 games

The price of expansion. I wonder if the ACC office ever wonders why they took half the teams they’ve taken over the last 20 or so years.

If the ACC thought about this 1% as much as I have, I'd be shocked. The ACC braintrust is DOA.

Some might say it's like the "curse of the Bambino".
In this instance, though, the Boston team saw to it that the team from the sixth borough wasn't picked up.

They stayed roughly within their traditional geographic area (till this year) while others used their big media contracts to get better teams.

So now they've tried to catch up with West Coast teams as week as BCU..........we're still available but their pride will likely keep us out until we win #8 for the men, #14 for the women and we make the football playoffs as an independent!

How do you get that schmuck Kobe to show his sorry butt on this board. Does he post on a B 12 board? Never hunted for a troll before, might be fun

SEC has probably 12 teams that can make the NCAA tournament. For a football conference they are playing pretty good basketball this year.

The ACC’s primary expansion strategy is to make BCU happy by not taking UConn. Not working out that well for the ACC.

Can someone tell Dusty May you can’t play 2 bigs together.
It won’t be Hurley…kind of weird seeing Reed and Johnson out there together
