December General CBB Discussion Thread (Non-BE)

This is so annoying. Duke pulls the win out of their butts against Florida and now they're going to win this to stay undefeated.
 
Thing with Michigan State is they really don't have a go-to player for end of games. Fears is good but small and not a great shooter. You can see the issue they have now in a tight game.

They don't have any offensive firepower, Izzo is doing a great job with what he has.

It's definitely a problem - they're definitely a team that relies on defense and the collective offensively.

Refs need to stop determining games in the last three minutes of games it’s infuriating. Multiple calls that should have been no calls in the Duke game

Got to give them credit. They're going to grind this one out in a tough place to play and against a hot team. Their identity right now is Boozer, who is a grinding all everything player. Nothing flashy, just efficient and versatile and a winner. He's easy to like, kid seems pretty humble.

So much for B10 dominance today.

One of those areas you and I often disagree on because I value smarts. Our best NBA players right now are Castle and Spencer. Spencer isn't there because of his athletecism. The current ROY favorite is not there for that either. It's not all about running fast and jumping high.
 
MSU still is scared of threes. Was so painful watching them turn down so many open shots down the stretch

One of the biggest PGs in the league currently who was in the dunk contest isn't there because of his physical abilities? Lol

If Cam was 6’5 with a 40” vertical he'd be Jordan. But instead he's an emerging role player.

That kind of stuff matters when we’re talking about a potential franchise player.

Seems like Duke has locked itself into a 1 seed. I don’t expect anyone in the ACC to challenge them. One more good OOC game for them before conference play which they will win. TTU at MSG.
