They don't have any elite athletes and their team speed sucks overall. Their backcourt can still be smothered, Braden Smith is a great player but he's so tiny he has to work so hard for everything and Fletcher Loyer is a statue. The Omar Meyer hype looks silly. It reminds me of the Fedor Zugic hype at Creighton, he's not Zugic bad but he's not good.

They'll still win a ton of games and get a high seed but that lack of athleticism/speed will be exposed in the tournament. Iowa State exposed it badly today and they're not an athletic team.

Will be curious to how they match up against UM because that is a team with size and athleticism all over the roster. I think they play once.

Smith is great but he hasn’t really improved in since a sophomore as his profile simply has a ceiling.

This is as good a win as it gets - could be higher.

Duke is Boozer and a lot of meh. Ngonba solid. Evans pulling an early Solo this year and only shooting 32% from three this year.

Scheyer has generally abandoned the traditional PG last few years. Roach, Proctor and Foster are not PGs.

Michigan State can't get the defensive rebound two straight times and then Duke gets away with a blatant moving screen and hits a three.
 
Geez Boozer just stuck his leg out with a moving pick and all the announcers can say is what a great play? It should have been his 5th foul

Agree. As others have said, their guard play leaves a lot to be desired. Boozer makes that team hum. You gotta make him work on D. Not at all impressed by anyone else on that team so far beyond him.
