Ohio State defended Olivia intelligently. When she received the ball in the low post, a second defender would slide in and take away the space usually available for her fallaway shot. Good teams are going to do the same thing to her, so Olivia is either going to have to develop another move or learn to recognize the double-team right away and kick the ball out to the open player.
She needs a right-handed jump hook where she doesn’t need to elbow hook going left. She’ll find those being called when we need her most.

Nope. That was one was on Adebayo. You can't have your back to the play when you're the cover in the lane. Not sure what you've been watching but UCONN's defense doesn't work that way. And I am sure he'll hold that against her. Did you see the look she got from the other players? They knew. And if they knew, be sure Geno knew.
Most team's defense don't work that way.

I think the easiest move for her to add would be a simple step-through after she executes the initial turnaround in the lane. She could mix that in after she does her basic turnaround move a couple of times. Not that the turnaround hasn’t been effective—she’s doing really well with it, fading away with a soft touch. But the bigger and better defenders will start anticipating it.
