If she stays on this trajectory, she has to be voted the ROY. And to think that all 12 teams passed on her in the first round, and 3 of them in the 2nd. I wonder how many of them would like to have her on their roster now?You ought to do something about that. Your vote could make a difference. She's got my vote. Unfortunately my vote is meaningless.

Oh so this is about Paige. I see SMDH! That didn’t take long.Shame Lynx will not be able to get the top pick when Paige enters the WNBA.

Seems we can’t let any past or present player have their own glory without adding a PB post. It’s annoying to me. I might be the only one.Just daydreaming how cool it would be for the Lynx to get a 3rd ROY from UConn and the special joy of playing in her home state. Nothing sinister.

LOLOLOLOLOL - I had to check this one out in "Bonus Lesson #2: Chat room/text abbreviations & acronyms"
"Who would have thought that at the midpoint of the @WNBA season, @minnesotalynx second-round draft pick @crystald2_ would be a front runner for Rookie of the Year? "
That would be us! (UConn Nation). WE watched her for the last 4 years. WE watched her grow and develop through the growing pains of her freshman year. WE watched her become a "consummate" floor general and master Geno's system, and take over games in the 4th quarter when the offense bogged down.

WE believed in her since she had that breakout game against Baylor her freshman year. WE are not surprised that she is having the success she is. After all, Geno and Shea trained her!!If she stays on this trajectory, she has to be voted the ROY. And to think that all 12 teams passed on her in the first round, and 3 of them in the 2nd. Let's celebrate Crusyal nefore we replace her with someone who has never started a college game.Shame Lynx will not be able to get the top pick when Paige enters the WNBA.

I believe you are forgetting their first UCONN ROY - Maya Moore. So your day dream can get better....for the Lynx to get a 4th ROY from UConnJust daydreaming how cool it would be for the Lynx to get a 3rd ROY from UConn and the special joy of playing in her home state. Nothing sinister.
But you can't blame Seattle for not taking her they have Sue and Jordan, and had no room for someone this year. The same thing as Ezi last year, and she is going to be something in a few years. Stewie has a chance to rewrite history with the young talent in Seattle. In case anyone is counting, there were 5 guards taken ahead of Crystal in the 2020 WNBA draft.![]()
They could get Westbrook next year and have a third...Just daydreaming how cool it would be for the Lynx to get a 3rd ROY from UConn and the special joy of playing in her home state. Nothing sinister.
Did we really watch her grow?![]()
She was a sly old vet when she left, ready for the pros. She was a young kid fresh out of HS with her eyes wide open, not really knowing what to expect when she first arrived.

Sue might hang on forever to play with all the young talent.
I’m not blaming anyone. I’m just pointing out that 5 teams selected guards ahead of Crystal....Just sayin......But you can't blame Seattle for not taking her they have Sue and Jordan, and had no room for someone this year. Thankfully she got the opportunity to play and took advantage of it. Look at the talent that would be sitting on the bench if Sims had been available at the beginning of the season. The same could be said of other players on other teams who are not getting the opportunity to play much because of veterans ahead of them.Yes!!! in many ways. She WAS NOT the same player she was when she left as when she first arrived. But you knew that. She was a sly old vet when she left, ready for the pros. I remember her saying in an interview about 2-3 weeks after official practice started that nothing she did in HS or AAU prepared her for what she was experiencing in practice. That was not the case 4 years later when she got to Minnesota. She was ready for whatever came. She made the cut, and has been starting the last 2 weeks, and making a difference her coach and teammates can see and appreciate. Her numbers and her play speak for themselves.![]()
Or Curt Warner. I had to give my guy some props.I’m not blaming anyone. I’m just pointing out that 5 teams selected guards ahead of Crystal....Just sayin......
Crystal might end up being the Tom Brady of WBB.....,
I hope she continues to play well. It is obvious that Sims has a ways to go to get in shape.
