It's also only one game to offset all the bad gamesAll about Pts/100 possessions. It has its strengths & limitations…what you mentioned is definitely one of them.

Andre Jackson styleRight, but the small lineup had a 6’7” point guard instead of a 6’0” point guard. That was the difference.
Stewart deserves some credit tonight. He answered that Traudt three immediately or it might have been game over. Pressure shot.I thought we were cooked when Karaban missed 3 straight wide open 3's on one possession and then Traudt immediately buried a 3.
On the other hand, I knew Creighton was done when Ashworth missed his 1 FT for the month and then McNeeley buried a 3
Of course. I honestly think part of his current funk is because he's realizing it.The reality is Karaban really needs to come back. He's not going to be a first round pick and he's clearly not ready to play in the NBA. I'm sure it's not something he would've expected but it makes sense for him to come back for his senior year with all that NIL.
Everyone but Liam Shooting 1-16 from 3 tonight probably cost us another spot or twoIt's also only one game to offset all the bad games
Here's the link. 61 does seem like it should yield a better result....but I'm not the nerd.
Show him more love, rather than fair weather fan, keyboard gangster hateHow do you solve a problem like Karaban?
There would be a lot more assists if someone other than Liam made a basket when they were passed the ballWe had a season low 10 assists and only 1 from Liam. I don't think Liam is going to be able to save us all year long. I know some of it is players missing shots too but we do need someone to step up and create more at PG. Maybe time for Nowell to play some minutes against Seton Hall.
Yes, you did.I am reading this as Georgetown 91.8 and Depaul 96.4. Did I miss something?
I’m not expecting Dan Hurley to make any extreme changes to his standard, but after a win like this it’ll be interesting to see where he lands on starting lineup and rotations in the one and done format. Liam is a super versatile chess piece and affords to go 5less, and/or without a traditional point. Depending on matchups I’ll be curious to see how it plays out.Andre Jackson style
Minus Andre Jackson… add buckets and Cam Spencer energy
I don’t think he can help himself.I’m sure the fans were pretty awful to him and it’s definitely a big monkey off the back in Omaha…But didn’t he just say he didn’t like that he did these kind of things? Lol, I don’t mind it but just funny.
This isn't correct. He was 4/30 in the six games before tonight, and now he's 4/37. 11%. He's at 34.3% (47/137) from three for the season.Karaban is 4-47 from his last 7 games from 3. Yikes.
At this point I'm not even sure if I'd say it's matchup dependent. Kalkbrenner is probably the biggest mismatch we'll face and it was extremely effective. I'd like to see it used more now
Kalk looked like he has the flu. Def not himself tonight
That’s his normal look. Either that or he’s had the flu for five years.Kalk looked like he has the flu. Def not himself tonight
My father told me this stat. I see it is 4-37 after this game. The point still holds that is an awful 10.8%.This isn't correct. He was 4/30 in the six games before tonight, and now he's 4/37. 11%. He's at 34.3% (47/137) from three for the season.
We need to let Alex rip it against SH. Needs to find some rythym in a low risk environment. This isn't correct. He was 4/30 in the six games before tonight, and now he's 4/37. 11%. He's at 34.3% (47/137) from three for the season.
They did quote it on air, and I'm not sure if they quoted the stat wrong, but you can see for yourself: Alex Karaban 2024-25 Game Log | College Basketball at Sports-Reference.comMy father told me this stat. They would still mean he is 4-43 in last 7.
Do we even need the exacts? He can’t hit broad side or a barn right now. The missed free throw is all I needed to see. I don’t think I’ve seen a UConn kid this out of sorts. They did quote it on air, and I'm not sure if they quoted the stat wrong, but you can see for yourself: Alex Karaban 2024-25 Game Log | College Basketball at Sports-Reference.com
Tonight's game won't be reflected until tomorrow.
