Worst post in boneyard history.1) McNeeley had a huge game, but there was a bit too much heat check in it. Efficiency matters.
2) McDermott made a bunch of mistakes tonight. He made no adjustments for McNeeley, and he let Creighton waste a bunch of offensive possessions at the beginning of the 2nd half. Then he tried a bad missed free throw attempt that had almost no chance of success.
3) Karaban's shot is a mess. It looks off from the wind up. He needs to spend a lot of time working on it.
4) UConn had Marquette on the road, St. Johns at home, and Creighton on the road, and took 2 of 3. Nice work.
It was Alex at the 5. He did a great job on Kalk.
He shot 55% overall and 50% from 3, we're really doing this right now?1) McNeeley had a huge game, but there was a bit too much heat check in it. Efficiency matters.
Someone always needs to say it for the basketball gods to decide they need to be made to look like idiots. Same goes for fans crashing out on twitter in the first half. It’s somehow good mojo and probably humbles the fan in their day to day life(speaking from experience).I just want whoever said we didn’t win there the last two years there’s no chance this would be the team to do it to raise their hand and take accountability for their stupidity
Feels like the models hate us this yearUp one spot to 33 in KenPom. Defense is inside 100. At 99.
The weird diagonal spin is maybe catching up to him? He's never had a good looking shot.I was yelling at the TV for him to stop taking 3's. Don't know what's happened to his shot.
Seton Hall Saturday don’t need him. Let him healFantastic win! I knew Diarra has been playing really hurt. I’m shocked the Huskies won there basically without him.
So we may never see it again? The small line up was the best line up offensively and defensively. We got and kept the lead with that lineup.
Efficiency matters and Liam was very efficient, off the charts efficient. He had 1.72 points per shot, that's humongous efficiency. His points per possession when he had the ball I am sure was 1.3 or more. Somebody fact check me.1) McNeeley had a huge game, but there was a bit too much heat check in it. Efficiency matters.

Also the No bigs! The no PG look saved the day.
It’s not confidence. He fired 3 3s up on the same possession. His mechanics are off. He never had a ton of arc on his shot but he has even less now causing him to shoot line drives that hit the back of the rim. While I liked his floaters, he has no confidence in his shot. But he made it up for his defense.
No Karaban has 4 good games consecutively after the Gonzaga game and played well at Texas and at Georgetown, too. He is just in his own head too much. I really feel bad for him, I don't care how much NIL he is making. I am hoping he conquers his self doubts.Karaban has not been right since the concussion.
I believe that’s a big part of it.
Lmao. Given that @freescooter only posts after losses, you won't have competition for one of the more miserable takes I've ever read here. Efficiency matters? He had 38 points on 22 shots. Literally had a 55/50/90 game and you post this. Such a joke.1) McNeeley had a huge game, but there was a bit too much heat check in it. Efficiency matters.
Yes DH does have a tendency to move away from something working in favor of something more comfortable. We played small last yeah when Cling was hurt and Sampson was the only big won all the games. Didn't see it again until the ncg and that was because the bigs were in foul trouble. So we may never see it again?
I think it's fair now to speculate how many of our 3 losses (@Nova, Creighton, @Xavier) would have been wins had McNeeley been available. We'd still be a deeply flawed team, but he's a huge difference maker.
He should change things up and shave his beard and maybe even his head to a tight buzz cut to change things up. It couldn’t hurt at this point.Sports psychologist. I am not trying to be mean or funny-I am being serious. He is clearly is in his own head. It makes me sad to see it in real time.
