He shot 55% overall and 50% from 3, we're really doing this right now?
Right, but the small lineup had a 6’7” point guard instead of a 6’0” point guard. That was the difference. The small line up was the best line up offensively and defensively. We got and kept the lead with that lineup.
Looking at Torvik, we have had 10 games with a def rating 100+. 3 of those were the Sowwy in Maui, and 6 of those were without Liam.
1 "Poor" defensive game with Liam. The Maui games I think we can all agree were some sort of weird twilight zone where the dream was still alive that Aidan was the golden ticket. Spitballing the math, that gets us into a 40ish range with Liam. We also haven't had Solo, AK, and Liam firing on all cylinders at once and still have the 12th Offense. This team has more to give and Liam just cranked up the electricity on this weird a__ Frankenstein monster of a team.
Might as well start it...
Wow, I'm still in shock they won this one. McNeeley with the monster game. Everyone else pretty much was terrible. Good to know they can win when so many play a bad game. Nice win!
I had initially thought the fouls came too early, but you make a great point, don't let Ashworth touch the ball. One good sign of a well coached team, the players knew the gameplan to foul up 3 even in live ball situations even when it wasn't immediately following a timeout where they could be reminded.
McNeeley's foul on Neal and Ball's foul on Green also both came right as both guys were about to get the ball to Ashworth. And that's a guy you don't want taking the 3, or to foul to avoid the 3 either
Really, that's your assessment?Takes the sting away (maybe just a little bit) from the St John's loss
UConn was 100+ defensively against Depaul and Georgetown?
Sports psychologist. I am not trying to be mean or funny-I am being serious. He is clearly is in his own head. It makes me sad to see it in real time.
I refuse to believe Waylon is a real person. He shot 55% overall and 50% from 3, we're really doing this right now?
Now that they got boo'ed at home, they've said fudge itIs this team better on the road? Maybe they feel good about the frequent flyer miles or enjoy hotels? Bodes well.
Must be hard to stomach being so wrong.I said in chat that Macneeley needed to score 41 points for UCONN to win today
All about Pts/100 possessions. It has its strengths & limitations…what you mentioned is definitely one of them.K
KenPom is kind of a joke…that may be one of the toughest 2 or 3 places in the country to win a game, and we moved up 1 spot…nice
We had a season low 10 assists and only 1 from Liam. I don't think Liam is going to be able to save us all year long. I know some of it is players missing shots too but we do need someone to step up and create more at PG. Maybe time for Nowell to play some minutes against Seton Hall.I’m fine with Hass resting the next 2 games. We need him as healthy as possible as we head to March.
Let Liam, Solo, & Alex initiate the offense. It worked just fine tonight.
Well, he actually has 2.5 or so out of 4 right, so I'm saying not the worst.Worst post in boneyard history.
Yeah, this is just so off. I really hope he just can shake off whatever is in his way. We know he can kill it, as a leader and in clutch shots.Karaban is 4-47 from his last 7 games from 3. Yikes.
