Well, he actually has 2.5 or so out of 4 right, so I'm saying not the worst.

The first point about McNeeley is the dumbest thing I've ever read in regards to analyzing a basketball game. He has to be a bot.

I thought we were cooked when Karaban missed 3 straight wide open 3's on one possession and then Traudt immediately buried a 3.

On the other hand, I knew Creighton was done when Ashworth missed his 1 FT for the month and then McNeeley buried a 3

Stewart deserves some credit tonight. He answered that Traudt three immediately or it might have been game over. Pressure shot.

And then he was alert on the last real Creighton possession and didn’t get caught ball watching - blew up Creighton’s play and then we put them on the line. That’s the sort of mistake he’s made that has cost him playing time - but he was locked in when he needed to be.

The reality is Karaban really needs to come back. He's not going to be a first round pick and he's clearly not ready to play in the NBA. I'm sure it's not something he would've expected but it makes sense for him to come back for his senior year with all that NIL.

Of course. I honestly think part of his current funk is because he's realizing it.

We had a season low 10 assists and only 1 from Liam. I don't think Liam is going to be able to save us all year long. I know some of it is players missing shots too but we do need someone to step up and create more at PG. Maybe time for Nowell to play some minutes against Seton Hall.

There would be a lot more assists if someone other than Liam made a basket when they were passed the ball

Lost in all the crazy extremes between Liam's scoring and the rest of the team's lack there of, how well they defended tonight. I believe the 66 points scored was among Creighton's lowest where they've been lighting it up big time lately, sans their 62-60 point win against Nova a little over a week ago.

I hope they start to put it all together soon. Imagine what the score might have been if everyone was healthy and just about everyone played up or close to their capabilities?!?!

I’m not expecting DH to make any extreme changes to his standard, but after a win like this it’ll be interesting to see where he lands on starting lineup and rotations in the one and done format. Liam is a super versatile chess piece and affords to go 5less, and/or without a traditional point. Depending on matchups I’ll be curious to see how it plays out.

Ashworth was abysmal today outside of free throws and Kalk was way out of sorts. I’m a big believer in presenting matchup challenges, and this one made their big work and smothered their PG.

Hurley seems to be moving off Ross and phasing out in these last two.
