I think he will fill Brendan Adams role really well with potentially much better 3 pt shooting. He's a bulldog on defense, really really strong. He isn't a super creative finisher, great passer, or ballhandler... he's just pretty good at everything and tough as nails. Hurley will have the confidence to play him big minutes.
Our guards overall are soft right now even if they are very good players and work really hard. We need the kind of player that drops bodies in the paint. An injection of toughness from CJF will be welcome.
Hawkins and him will both be +++ defenders on the perimeter and good shooters to match.
