Pretty sure we've made his final list of 1 ;)

He’s the face of Roselle Catholic, a very important program. Hurley prototype. Would be a very nice land for us. He plays AAU with Sool.
I'd argue Simeon Wilcher is probably the next face of their program. Still a nice get if he comes here though.

I think he will fill Brendan Adams role really well with potentially much better 3 pt shooting. He's a bulldog on defense, really really strong. He isn't a super creative finisher, great passer, or ballhandler... he's just pretty good at everything and tough as nails. Hurley will have the confidence to play him big minutes.

Our guards overall are soft right now even if they are very good players and work really hard. We need the kind of player that drops bodies in the paint. An injection of toughness from CJF will be welcome.

Hawkins and him will both be +++ defenders on the perimeter and good shooters to match.

Dude looks like he could be a monster once he gets in strength program. Stocky frame, but has some long arms. Watched the video above & was taken aback by how effortlessly he got up for a dunk. His ranking in the 100’s isn’t great, but the staff must see a lot they like & his offer list is fantastic. Hope we get him - adding him to Hawkins & Sool would be crazy fun to watch.

Anyone have a 247Sports.com subscription? Any crystal ball picks?

Not sure if it was in this article or not since I don't have access but Jerry Meyer posted a new scouting report for Floyd

Power-5 Starter

Well built and physical guard. Has functional athleticism in traffic. Ideal playing off the ball as a shooter and slasher. Has a reliable shooting stroke. Can attack the basket and finish with either hand. Solid overall ball handler and passer. Rebounds his position well.

I hate to even type this but Rutgers is a very serious contender for Floyd.

With the job Steve's done why should anyone be surprised? I'm watching their games and shaking my head that he was their third or fourth choice. Solid team that plays hard and aggressively.

And, Cliff, for all the hype, isn't moving into the starting lineup anytime soon, so that tells us how well Steve and Carl have recruited.

He will be a top 40 to 50 recruit by his senior year. He will jump into the top 100 this summer..(if aau is going)
No question he's underrated by services.. Lack of AAU/high school games due to COVID hurt his ratings but he definitely passes the eye test. .Perfect pick up by Dan Hurley/staff for our system/style of play... Small Ball w/Lil Sool/JHawk will be fun..

If he is a rock solid and tough defender as others above state and he is 6-5 and long and we add the offensive projection above, what's not to like?
