That Duke/UConn matchup might need changing as well. Too risky, even if the game is in NC.The refs are really going to have to step it up.
That means no bones are broken. Ligaments don’t show up on an X-ray. Ultrasound yes to some degree and he wouldn’t have had a CAT scan or MRI that quickly.X rays were negative, they'll reassess tomorrow after seeing how bad the swelling is.

for normal patients. for Flagg less likely.X-rays are a prereq. in order to get an MRI for insurance purposes.
But a wheelchair…..seriously, the only program in America that would put the kid in a wheelchair. So aproposI think he's fine - no boot, no ice.
lol….,you think insurance is an issue here???X-rays are a prereq. in order to get an MRI for insurance purposes.
Of course not.lol….,you think insurance is an issue here???
Impact of Flag's injury reminds me of Kenyon Martin's injury in 2000 on terms of changing championship picture.Looked like a low ankle sprain but he came down with all his weight on it from above the rim. Would have to think at least a couple weeks
Anti-inflammatories can be injected at the site of the injury. Plus they can use that spray freeze as well. Probably will be elevating it in a boot later today.

That’s kind of standard in some of the larger arenas, to be honest.
The medical room or wherever is way inside the building somewhere so it doesn’t make sense for an injured player to walk. Some actually just use golf carts.
One of my bucket lists jobs is to drive the golf cart which picks up injured players and carts them off the field/court of play.
Judging by how far he turned that ankle, I’d say he’s out 8 to 10 weeks.Best case scenario is that he can comeback in the 2nd round of the NCAAT. Duke shoudn't need him against the #16 seed.
He’ll be out a lot longer than 2 weeks. That was gruesome. He wont be the same player, even if he comes back in 2 weeks.
Most Titles:
UConn: 6
Duke: 5
How do you like them apples!!
I’m a hater. I’m not afraid to admit that I hope he spends the rest of his life looking back at his time at Duke as being an underwhelming disappointment. You never want to wish an injury on anyone, especially a generational talent like him. Nevertheless, it does make Duke a little less intimidating if he is unable to play in the tournament.

Cooper Flagg injury update: Duke star ruled out after hurting ankle in ACC Tournament

My favorite response is always “I wish him the best!” Do we wish the D2 player the best? The random kid at Lehigh you never hear of? If you’re wishing everyone the best then the phrase is meaningless lol. Flagg is going to be the top pick in draft I don’t have to wish him the best. He picked Duke over us, why should I wish him the best?I’m a hater.
