You're right. Memphis is full of class acts. They also have a great home record as a result of playing great teams at home
 
good game, the key for us was our front line holding Shaq Goodwin to 10 points and 1 rebound. nice collective effort
 
I think Memphis's kids were alright, didn't see a lack of class at all, Pellom was acting punky--but to his friend. Pellom was Kromah's teammate last year, and he was laughing at him. Or maybe they didn't like each other, in which case Pellom is an arse. But the rest of the team is just fine.

Probably that their guard Geron Johnson is defined well by the term "punk." You could also use "thief" from when he stole an X-box and was arrested in highschool.

Agreed. Very good match-up. My brother texted me with 14 seconds left, already celebrating the win. I still wasn't comfortable. Those two back-to-back turnovers spooked me.
 
AAC needs a strong performance from Memphis, so this was ! Great game on many levels.

The only annoying thing was there always seemed to be a bump by a UM player on the shooter after every made shot. That is not the kind of physical play we had in the old BE.

I thought it was one of the better games of the year to watch, not just UConn games, but of any game across the country. A lot of big time plays were made, by Bazz, Kromah and DD especially, but Memphis hung in there and I didn't think it was over until we went up 10.

I was at the gym, watched most of 1st half on a bike with TV. When I was done on equipment, still 4:18 left - not enough time to get home, so got back on a bike to watch the end. Have to program a workout to get audio on the TV. With all the dumb turnovers and timeouts, burned another 122 calories.

Anyway, two Pitt guys behind me on ellipticals saw my UConn sweatshirt and were watching over my shoulder. They started commenting on how bad the refs were, especially Brimah's last foul.

I got a few sideways glances from the women around me for cursing out DD on a late TO. Guess it's not a great place to watch a game...

Great game for the Huskies! Now that is the kind of basketball I knew they could play. Memphis played a good game as well, but UConn exorcized a couple of demons there (rebounding and front court play in general) and played great! Good Luck against the Cardinals
